(As a previous Milwaukee, WI customer - leaving a review on the state headquarters location).
Never in my LIFE have I come across a service as superficial as an internet signal act as if they are beyond a 'neighbors & friends' type company.
This company will treat you like an object upon immediately getting on billing with them - and hounds you like the IRS, government, and law enforcement.
This company in the last 15 years has basically gained their ego and control by buying out all competition around them (RIP road runner and other brands) and then jack up their average costs x2 or x3! Just to rub their palms together mischievously providing a monopoly type service everyone needs in the 2020's. If this sounds like a conspiracy theory- be late on a bill and just wait and see how they respond to you. Night and day to internet providers from lets say 2010. When someone shows you who they are - listen to them.
For the record- I'm not a cheap skate- I'm actually financially secure which puts me in a place to examine whether or not where I'm applying my money is fair and logical. With Spectrum - its not. At minimal you are looking at $110-120 dollars for JUST a broadband internet signal. Again - JUST the internet - when you reach out to plead for something lower like a little kid they try to scam you into adding packages no one needs ; a 1990s home phone, digital cable that freezes on you watching a premiere episode of something (bye Felicia). Ect. Try to ask for a lower speed to gain control of your budget and they will gaslight you telling you your preference is a financial mistake as you are missing out on bundles they offer. They also 'Added more speed' for 'free' across the entire company in a way to show 'See look how great we are - we are the best - don't leave us'. This 'extra speed' is like Grabbing a clean folded shirt from your dresser. Re washing it then giving it back to you saying 'I washed this for you' say thank you. What? *Mind explode emoji*
Late on a bill and you better go into witness protection, constant calls from recycled remixed misc numbers and hang-ups, sometimes 4-5 times a day - psychotic level car loan collection type hysteria. So mentally abusive, sick, evil, demonic, and beyond human comprehension - here's an idea - give me a fair $50 internet signal and my bills will be paid! omg. I had to answer the phone and tell them I died - just as a last ditch effort to make them calm down. Me and a friend started laughing afterward looking at my view of Lake Michigan on a penthouse skyrise in response "Bro - look at this view - you didn't die. You are living it up!" Spectrum granted me this charming memory- thats about all I'm saying thank you for.
Shopping around come to find out AT&T provides a more secure broadband box plugged into your phone line ONLY used by you where as Spectrum provides this signal provided to the public plugged into a cable signal that everyone shares - DIRTY! Like reusing bath water. IRONICALLY AT&T is cheaper!!!
Once you leave Spectrum company and heal from the trauma and abuse - if you think you are safe you are wrong- constant annoying and THICK sales advertisements (come to think of it I even got these AS a customer). These fill your trash so fast its gotten to the point I write 'REFUSED' and send them back. GO AWAY. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
RUN RUN RUN!!! from this company. If you think the book the secret is the ultimate secret to humanity - I have a better one... turn. on. you. mobile. hotspot. You are welcome. Life changing.
Even if you WORK for this company - I truly pity you - it's so incredibly dirty and I assure you - you will feel icky and your soul will be screaming for help.

Don't bother applying for a job here! I applied through Indeed. Had a recruiter hound me to set up an interview, right before the holidays. Reaches out again after the holidays, do 3 interviews in a week. Now it's been over 2 weeks since I interviewed. They don't even have the courtesy to follow up and tell me I didn't get the job. Guess I just have to assume that. Thanks, for nothing! Won't waste my time and apply ever again!

This company seems to have removed all the good solid brass Stanley hinges etc. from my local hardware store and replaced them with chincey National Hardware plated tin.

I ordered a lid for a Farberware percolated on 4/22/19. Over six weeks later I still don't have one. First of all the knob broke off within a week after purchase and there is no way to repair it. So coffee spurts out of a pin hole when it perculates. Will never never buy a Farberware product again. Getting backto Spectrum brands. It is now the last week of May. I emailed No response. I called and spoke with customer service. The rep said lid was on backorder and it should have been shipped 2-3 weeks after I ordered it in April. So then I had to cut the cord inches above the prong and send a photo of prong with number on it (impossible to read) along with a photo of the receipt to Their email address. This is all so ridiculous. I'm supposed to get a new perculator now. It is under warranty. After all this inconvenience I'm not too trusting That I will. Awful awful company to deal with. The rep was very nice. Don't blame her. She's doing what she's trained to do. And Farberware has poor quality percolators!

I recently started working for this company because of hearing others thoughts on it. I have seen high levels of honesty, integrity and hardwork to help give consumers great mid-value brand products! I'm glad to be a part of the team.

Terrible customer service! I ordered a replacement part on 12/4/2016 8:07 AM, I was told by customer service that the item should ship around 01/15/2017. Today it is 02/14/2017 and I yet to hear from they regarding the part. I will hopefully never need to buy anything from this group...because parts are, at this time, impossible to obtain. I hope to get a refund so, I can buy the part elsewhere.
