Asked for some advice & girl at register called someone to help me. The girl who came up to help me had no idea what to recommend to me for my dog. Going back to Petco, bcus at least they take the time to help. Was pretty bummed when I left there.

I go here for my all things cat related. Prices are comparable to Pet Smart and less than Mad Cat as well as Tabby and Jacks. The service is spotty at times, but better than Tabby and Jacks (would not go there again). Mounds has about anything you need for your animal.

I know many people who have had difficulty with Mounds over the past year or more, but my experience has been different, maybe because I don’t require a lot of assistance. I find what I need + if I don’t find it, I go elsewhere rather than asking a staff member at any store including Mounds. The cashiers + stockers have been busy + probably show more stress than I would like in employees. However, I understand that most industries, especially service + customer relations do not have enough staff members to meet their minimum schedules for payroll. Some patience + gratitude goes a long way on the part of us as the customers. Thank you to the staff at Mounds, please know that some of us are still with you.

My experience with Mounds Pet Food was amazing. We had just come home with a new puppy, we are relatively new to Madison, and Mounds was the only place I could find that sells the food his breeder had been feeding him. I inadvertently created two online orders for the same item, to be picked up at the Middleton Mounds Pet Food location. When I arrived, I explained the issue to a young man who was working there (I don't recall his name, but it was at 5:00pm on 4/3/23, so I'm sure you can figure out who I'm talking about). He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He found both my orders on his computer, canceled one of them, and promptly brought me the other one. He left me with the impression that waiting on me was the best thing that had happened to him that day. As if that weren't enough, his offer of a Mounds Bar on my way out sealed the deal. I will be a Mounds Pet Food customer for life.
