Beware that they sell expired products! You can get illness and they will not do anything about it!Just bought a drink expired for more than one year… first time in my life. The staff is very rude after I confronted her and think this is perfectly OK?! I would therefore assume they did this all the time to cheat customers.I will never recommend this Asian grocery due to safety concerns. There are several far better Asian groceries out there.

Good for Asian “shelf items” like sauces, dry noodles, spices canned items, etc. and refrigerated items like tofu, wrappers and things like that. Produce and frozen sections do not have the wide variety you might hope to see.

Fish section is gross. Live lobster tank is abysmal. Can't find price labels for many items. Staff is rude.

They have great roast duck here and everyone is very nice. Mostly Chinese and Taiwanese goods, but also some Vietnamese and a little Japanese.

A charming Asian market that's all you'd hoped it would be: a wide array of fresh vegetables, narrow aisles, cardboard boxes everywhere, and flickering lights. None of the Asian markets on Park can compete with the prices here.

I mainly come here for the Chinese BBQ, so that's what I am rating. :) The roast pork and duck is really good--almost CHI quality, if ya know what I mean. Their deli also offers other Chinese sides and entrees, every now and then. The guys working the back don't speak much English but enough to get what you need--be patient bc it's worth it! They're also the only place that you can order and entire roast pig in Madison! You need to order a week in advance, and make a $50 deposit. The remaining fee is paid at pick up (~$5/lb). You can request it left whole or chopped up, too! Great for feasts (iykyk) ! ;) I've done minimal grocery shopping here and found they have a good variety. Prices seemed seem fair, and no complaints about quality. The store does appear a bit run-down--it is a gas station, after all. But dat BBQ IS LEGIT.

Been going there 2-3 times a year for many years (I live quite far from MadCity).The younger guy behind the hot food counter (once-twice got an older one who's a bit nicer) has always been rude. Figured I can still tolerate it. But this time it's gone too far when he scowled and all after I tried to tell him which bbq/roast pork I wanted, then turned his back on me while mumbling in Chinese (which I sure do hope it was ONLY grumbling), and almost throw the plastic bag with my purchase in front of my face. Seriously thinking of talking to the manager, but figured it won't make a difference, considering other staff there usually quite rude too. That day I happily took my business elsewhere. IF YOU DON'T SPEAK CHINESE FORGET ABOUT GOING THERE! There are many other Asian grocery stores in Madison.

Worst customer service ever especially the staff working in the deli department ,after asking them To order something from the deli and was told rudely that they were out they started to talking about you in Chinese stay away from this place if you can
