CCR is wonderful to work with. The case managers are so responsive and helpful; I have never not been able to get in touch when I needed assistance or just an ear to listen. They work really hard to match foster parents with the right children, and have both the foster parent and kids' best interests at heart.

CCR is an amazing organization to work with. My husband and I would not be able to be foster parents if it wasn’t for them. They offer so much support to us when needed.

Community Care Resources is the most professional, competent agency we have worked with as foster parents. They support their foster homes 100% with a wealth of knowledge and support for the great challenge of fostering youth in today's complex world. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting licensed to foster.

CCR is amazing! Your case manager comes once a week to spend time with you and offers advice for any issues you have. They work with the children to help them understand their trauma and provide them with skills to self regulate. The CCR staff is a team to help you be the best foster parent you can be.

CCR helped make our dream of being foster parents come true. From the initial contact to the weekly support meetings, and everything and everyone in between, have been top-notch. The training was very detailed, preparing us for the challenges of foster care. We’re very happy with the choice we made to work with CCR.

I am a current foster parent and could not express enough how amazing CCR is. When I first looked into the process I reached out to my county. It took me 3 phone calls and MONTHS to even get a packet in the mail with information. I found CCR online while doing more research. Gave them a call and they answered immediately and talked to me for a good hour, answering all my questions and discussing my concerns. I was licensed a couple months later. (Which is quick!) I received placement of a sibling group 11 days after licensing. (Which is quick!) We chose CCR for MANY reasons. Just the first phone call alone I could tell how much they genuinely care about the children that have to go through this difficult process. They have an amazing training course with so many members to help you and answer any questions along the way. Unlike most counties, with CCR you will ALWAYS be able to get ahold of someone to talk to about anything that comes up and any time of the day or night. My husband and I wanted to foster sibling groups to help them stay together. These children often find themselves at CCR because it is so hard to find homes to take all the children together. Also unlike county, CCR can license throughout the state and help place children from all over the state. I will admit I thought it was a little invasive knowing we would have a case manager in our home every week. But oh my goodness it’s AMAZING. I love my case manager (Wanda)! At least for the first month that poor lady was getting phone calls from me daily! Sometimes a few a day! She answered and talked me through all my questions and concerns or even just some venting about what’s happening with my bio children!Obviously we wish we could live in a world where foster parents weren’t needed and kids were safe at home. Unfortunately that’s not the case and more and more kids are being removed daily. Neglect, all forms of abuse, death in the family or even the parents just needing a little help to get back on their feet. I look at my foster children every day and my heart hurts knowing that there are kids out there that are falling through the cracks or hiding their pain from what’s happening at home so nobody knows. Even the thought that maybe without my husband and I, they would be separated and in different homes away from each other.I’m so blessed to be apart of the CCR family and am so thankful for my kiddos in my home. To watch them and guide them to overcome their hardship can be difficult at times but so amazingly worth it.Please consider fostering. Don’t think you have the room? Call and ask. Don’t think you have the time? Call and ask. Don’t think you have the financial means? Call and ask. If you have the heart to do it and the patience, I promise you it’s worth it.Their are so many kids that need a home. One bed could change their lives completely. If you have any questions please reach out to CCR or even me for that matter. I am willing to help in any way I can.Sincerely, a proud CCR foster mom of 8.

The support and care you receive when fostering through this agency surpasses all expectations! The entire staff makes you feel as if you are part of one big extended family. We were skeptical and afraid as we took the first steps into fostering. Community Care Resources helped us every step of the way to feel confident that we could DO THIS! We are loving our foster parent experience! We are grateful to have literally stumbled upon this agency when we first started out on this journey and we highly recommend them to anyone who is interested.

My experience fostering with CCR has by far surpassed any expectation I had of a foster agency. From 24/7 support, having a personal case manager in my home every week to talk through things, to some of the most in-depth and transformational training courses before licensing AND amazing continued free trainings and support opportunities after licensing ...there is not a better agency to work with! We are one big family at Community Care Resources.

We have been working with CCR for over two and a half years. Every single employee we have interacted with has been knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring. They serve with love and passion for their field. And it motivates and encourages my family to continue on this journey. We have been supported every step of the way, and have never felt alone.

Community Care Resources is an amazing organization to work for. The foster parents have a lot of support, not only from their case manager, but also from the supervisors and office personnel.

I have been with CCR for 16 years. They have always been there when I needed something. There have been times I just needed to vent and someone was there to listen. As long as I’m still fostering I’m staying with CCR. Thank you CCR for always being there and making what I do something I love.

CCR is a strong advocate for the best interests of children in placement and foster parents. They work well with agencies to "make it happen" when services are needed. They have helped fund camp experiences for children and are aware of resources available statewide. We have fostered with them since 2003.
