I was pleased to receive excellent service from Talia at Chalmers Jewelers in Middleton. I needed a box to hold a gold pendant that belonged to my mother so we could bequeath it to a relative. Talia first helped me confirm the type of pendant we had and then provided a box that made a beautiful presentation. We’re so grateful!

I gave 2 stars because this is a nice store with good employees, but I don’t appreciate their stance on lab grown diamonds. Diamonds have ALWAYS been artificially inflated in price due to a monopoly in the mines. Now due to technology everyone can afford high quality diamonds. Jewelers like Chalmers are tying (unsuccessfully) to devalue lab grown diamonds because they obviously make less money on diamonds that cost 1/3 of the price. Lab grown diamonds are indistinguishable from earth grown diamonds except in price. My recent lab grown diamond purchase cost me $1,500 the exact same spec earth grown diamond from Chalmers was over $7,000.In my opinion it would be like big oil trying to convince you that lab grown gasoline is bad and we should only buy gas from oil fields, when in reality both gasses are identical but big oil doesn’t make as much money.

Called at 10AM to ask about a battery replacement for my watch and the lady on the phone said they do battery replacement and there was one person working in repair roday. Arrived approximately 1 hour later and the person behind the desk said that since I didn't purchase the watch there they suggested Wulf Kubbly insided ACE Hardware. I asked inside a hardware store and he said yes. Suggestion spend money on Guest service instead of commercials.I brought my watch to Gruno's Diamonds and received a five star experience. Battery is replaced and fixed in less than 15 minutes.

I came in just to get the value of two gold rings to sell on eBay. William helped me with getting the value, weight, size and even cleaned and polished the rings for me.
