I have been with Tri Hi now for over 6 months. I cannot say enough about how nice it is to work for a trucking company that understands the drivers and to understand that things happen out of our control. This organization is the best i have worked for. Everyone is extremely nice, helpful, caring and understanding. If you're needing time off, all they ask is give them plenty of notice. They do their best to accommodate you and typically do. But, understand that if you are not willing to give them enough notice, it will be difficult as you are constantly running loads. You are treated with respect and like family.Get the loads to your assignment on time and no problems. They are the best to work with and do not sit around micro- manage you.If you do your required deliveries and pickups on time that's perfect. Never be afraid to let them know if you have an issue. Things do happen, but they can't fix what they do not know.Their equipment is top line. We have mostly Volvos and freightliner s. Our shop is one of the best. All trucks are equipped with APU's , inverters and refrigerators. They do their best to work with you. All trucks are equipped with front and forward facing cameras for insurance purposes. We have drivers that have been with the company for 15+ years ALL our drivers are nice and very willing to help each other out.I highly recommend TRI HI it is a family owned and those that dispatch and take care of you have been drivers themselves. They know what they are doing here. I plan on remaining with them for quite sometime.JanTruck #836

I’ve been with this company for 5 years now. I’ve not once had a problem with the way they run things. Yes, the pay structure takes getting used to, but I’ve never been shorted miles or any other kind of reimbursements. I’d have to say about the only micromanagement they do is for where you fuel up. But what company doesn’t do that? I’ve never had any issues with getting home for hometime, they are extremely good about getting you home. Yes, they don’t have overnight or weekend dispatch, but if you need to get in touch with someone, there’s always somebody on call through their after hours number. And I’ve never had trouble reaching someone. They have never made any promises to me they haven’t kept. Where all these negative reviews are coming from I have no clue. If you understand the trucking business, then you know that this small family ran company is a diamond.

This company treated me very well at FIRST. Got me a bus ticket and a hotel, and even provide me with one of their cars and the gift cards for food was a plus. They didn’t explain to me over the phone that they were strictly West Coast and also forgot to mention that you’ll have to put chains on your tires because they’ll expect you to drive through the snow and mountains and forgot small details. The recruiters just try to get you in the door. The pay is low for what they’re expecting you to do. I declined the offer right after their three day orientation and bought my own bus ticket home for that morning. I emailed him plenty of time earlier that morning. He told me to just go to the yard at 9am and that they would provide arrangements (causing me to miss my bus). I went back to sleep and woke up around 8 because two of the guys from there were there to pick up the car they had provided me with which I thought was weird. Then I asked the recruiter what arrangements they were providing me with and he basically told me the owner Doug was not willing to get me back home leaving me stranded stating that I should’ve contacted him the night before even though he told me different info that morning. The next bus wasn’t until the next day so I had to pay for another night at the hotel and my bus ticket for the next day but ended up having a friend come get me. Companies like this are very nice up front but once they can’t use you they don’t care and will leave you stranded. Imagine if I had worked for this company how they’d treat me if my truck had broken down. This just tells me what type of company this is and their “family oriented” slogan is completely false. I was never once rude to them was completely honest and upfront. Now I knew i made the right choice. Stay away from this company they have no morals.

Horrible environment to work in. The pay is a joke(comdata advances weekly as a paycheck) then pay once a month on the miles they want to pay you on. They need to learn how to manage their money better and start paying drivers weekly on miles driven and not rely on factoring companies to pay them so they can stay afloat.

It's a good company to work for. You just need to adapt to the way they run things. I had a problem with getting paid once a month but you got advances every Friday. Otherwise I liked it there.

My son and daughter in law started with company put home time in 2 weeks early was out over month . New dispatch guy messed up there run . Then blamed my son and the owner of company very disrespectful to him . My daughter in law was out of her meds for seizures ,mental health and diebets . They only 11 hours from home and load didn't deliver until late Sunday early Monday . They would not give a inch . My poor daughter in law had 2 seizures .many panic attacked before they got home . So please think about before look at this company . Also no dispatch on weekends there's no body .there emergency number but it's busy all time . What company did to my family wrong . They say family based company . Yea there own family . Why only 60 trucks run because.
