If your from Merrill it’s 5 star, Merrill is small town, and locals gets stuck on what’s Merrill…I’m in Wausau and I prefer Marathon Custom Meats.. I enjoy what Geiss processes with venison, beef, pork, etc…. It’s just not better than other local processors.. Marathon Custom Meats is better IMO….

Had my beef processed at Geiss for several years with great service and quality. This last time (Dec 2023) there was an issue with the hamburger. Brought the issue to Andy's attention and he resolved without hesitation.

Great products and customer service. Hours of operation you need to check.They have recently moved the retail store out of the main meat packaging building, which is a great idea I might add.They are still located within the same lot.They converted I believe what the old laundry area into the retail store."The building was always well kept and a great size.Only place my husband will buy his beef jerky from.They are big supporters of the community always giving back in some way.

Meat prices are cheaper here than in the stores. Great meat store. When in Merrill stop at Geiss.

Fast and Friendly service. I love the new Retail Store. We have our venison processed here and we also buy supplies to make our own sausage, brats and sticks.

Dropped my doe off for processing around the end of Sep and every time I have called, I get a different story. On Friday, Oct 27 @ 1:58pm, I called and was told that it would ready for pickup on Monday, Oct 30th. I called today twice to pick up my order and the individual was unsure where it was and that she would have someone call me back. Have not heard back from them yet but honestly this is concerning. I have used Geiss's and love their products. Please fix this.

Like to try a new place every year or two, to take my venison trimmings to and am very happy with everything from Geiss meats. Bacon is excellent, enough grease from it after frying to fry ur eggs in and very good flavor. Most venison bacon is to dry, they got it right. Love the pickle snack sticks, wish I would had more made. Will definitely go back next year!!

Just got 3 pigs back from geiss meat. Absolutely blown away at their attention to detail from cuts to packaging. Wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else to be processed!!!
