Would be nice if you were actually open for the hours published online and on your door. Google lets you edit hours easily if there are changes.

Great service and very knowledgeable mechanics. This place can accommodate a 1 man show or handle your fleet of mowers and power equipment. Very large stock of parts on hand for Toro and a few other brands of equipment.

I have been going to Mequon Lawn And Garden for decades. It is the best place to bring lawnmower and snowblower equipment for maintenance, as well as purchasing lawnmowers and snowblowers. The staff is so knowledgeable and responsive and they really work hard to figure out problems and fix them quickly. I can't recommend this place high enough. Don't look anywhere else for your lawnmower and snowblower needs. Just go to Mequon Lawn And Garden.

These people really care for their customers. They never rush you for a sale or if you have questions. I feel so bad for lawn and garden dealers being forced into selling inferior, overpriced battery junk. I think it's time to buy a gas version of everything to keep for spares.

I'm writing this comment because of Heath taking care of the MFG engineering/R&D issue of an expensive/$600 backpack blower under warranty, defects of materials and workmanship. It's an Echo PB8010T backpack blower that i bought new from Mequon L&G in spring of 2019 when it was the most high performance, biggest baddest backpack blower sold in the USA. I also have other Echo machines that i bought from Mequon L&G for the past 10+ years at the One Day Sale of 15% off, one in spring and one in fall. Before 2019 One Day Sale was 20%. Since it's 20% fleet price discount only if $2,500 of products (not accessories) is on one sale receipt. Yeah, it's only money, unless it's mine. Contractors love this 8010/9010 blower and make You Tube videos of it in action blasting heavy leaves vs other brand blowers. The 8010/9010 is known by contractors as THE BEAST. Time and efficiency, production on the job equals money. Mequon L&G is exhibit "A" of why someone should never buy equipment at the mega monster big box store. Because it's about service after the sale. Any nitwit with less than 11 brain cells can swipe a credit card. But they can't do service or warranty if their life depended on it. On my blower the recoil starter bolts were falling out, stripping the threads in the engine block in November 2022. It needed a new engine and a new recoil starter. Heath was honorable and said he has seen this multiple times. Even though my machine was technically more than 2 years old and out of warranty, Heath knew what right and wrong is. (5 year warranty for homeowner/2 year commercial) In December 2022 Heath got Echo to replace the engine with a new short block engine plus a new recoil starter and pay Heath for the labor cost too. That shortblock would cost $300/$350 retail price plus another $50 +/- for the recoil starter and don't forget to add in the labor cost. NO it doesn't cost Echo retail prices for parts, so what who cares, it' still not a cheap date. So a shout out to Heath & Echo for having morals, ethics and integrity, which is rarely seen anymore in today's world. (Hopefully a few of you enjoyed reading this magazine i wrote here) Some of you might have been around long enough to remember this life lesson in a movie called Pretty Woman about 35 years ago. When Richard Gere said to Julia Roberts in the movie, while walking on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. "Stores don't like people, they only like credit cards." I never forgot that phrase after all these decades. How refreshing it is that Mequon L&G took care of a customer after the sale with an engineering defect past the warranty. Never forget, it matters who you buy your equipment from. So i'm doing some bragging & boasting here for Mequon L&G because typing this during the commercials on Christmas Day while watching the Bucks & Celtics on ESPN is what Mequon L&G earned/deserve. *** (while i ignore the disruptive annoying nuisance Monster In Laws and their rug rat brats) = just like telemarketers.

I hate to ding this place because they did a good job with repairing my Toro walk behind a year ago. But unfortunately, they dropped the ball when I brought in my riding mower. I asked them to look at a belt and replace if necessary. Only when picking up my mower did I realize they never looked at the belt. That was my primary reason for bringing it in. When settling up on the bill, I asked if they ever looked at the belt because there was no mention of repairing it on the invoice. I thought they figured it was ok and didn't need repairing. When pressing the matter further, the guy went back to look at my mower once again and came back and said, yes, it probably needs replacing, but the job was already done. He said I would have to wait another week to get the part and then a few more days to install it. I passed and said just deliver my riding mower back to me. When you ignore the customer's request, don't be surprised if you no longer have a customer.
