Mequon Jewish Preschool is so much more than just a great school. Mequon Jewish Preschool is a life changing experience. I have 2 alumni of the school and even so I am still blown away on a daily basis at what my toddler knows, what he is able to accomplish, and the ways he is able to advocate for himself. I know whole heartedly that the tools that he is acquiring there are life long assets, and while I have learned (from them) how to reinforce those tools at home it would not be possible for me to instill them in him on my own without the school leading the way.

MJP is more than a school. It’s family. Not only do we feel beyond comfortable leaving our children in their care knowing that they are safe, but we also know that they are truly loved! The care is absolutely unparalleled and we are so unbelievably grateful to have such an amazing environment to have our boys learning and growing in.

We have been sending our children to MJP for summer camp for several years. It is absolutely incredible how much the kids grow from their time at this school. The staff makes calculated decisions on how to bring out the potential of each student and to give each student the self-confidence to succeed. The reason we utilize the summer program is simply because we don't live in the area during the school year, but we have noticed that our children enter the school year in our hometown with a greatly enhanced skill set which maximizes their learning ability and social interactions. Thank you MJP for the happy and upbeat learning atmosphere, and thank you for truly caring about your students!

I’ve been struggling to put into words how I have been feeling and I am going to try now, so please bare with me. I am Jewish, but not very religious. In fact I am learning about the various holidays as my daughters learn. I grew up reformed and basically celebrated the major holidays: Passover, Chanukah, Purim (although now I’m realizing I barely celebrated that!). Anyway, when I joined MJP initially I did so because my friend told me to. She loved it and we wanted our daughters to grow up in the same place. She had put her son in the same preschool I did before and now they are best friends, so now I thought I’d do the same for her. Now, my other daughter goes to MJP and in her short time there she has just blossomed. Her language has exploded. Her confidence has grown. She’s like a different girl in the few short weeks she’s been there. I guess I’m writing this because the difference I see between your preschool and the other preschool that both my boys went to, which I also loved, is the familial environment. The love and care that my girls are surrounded with when I’m not there, when I’m too tired and busy, is amazing. You and your staff are there for them providing them this safe and loving environment and that is the difference. That is what makes your preschool such a gift. It’s not just a place where there basic needs are met and yes, I know they are taken care of and that they will be fine while I’m gone. But I also know they are surrounded by love and treated with respect and kindness. They are taught to lead and explore. And I just feel that they are safe and happy. And that makes me happy. I have seen them grow into beautiful little people. So thanks to the staff for putting my mind at ease, which is nearly impossible!

The school puts an emphasis on kids first. They design education programs even for babies. The gymnastics program has helped my daughter develop her physical skills despite developing slowly in this area. The director translates her attitude, ideas, and energy to all the staff. The staff are always ready to answer questions and keep thorough records of what the children do throughout the day. Everybody is welcoming and professional all the time. People are positive and optimistic even when problems come up.

This school is unique in its ability to empower our children! Our children are so capable and MJP allows them opportunities to show this in ways they cannot get anywhere else. The Jewish foundation cannot be beat. Most wonderful about this school is the community support. The school staff and parents come together regularly. Not only are the children thriving, but our family feels so supported by this school.

MJP has provided my children and family with a preschool experience that has far exceeded my expectations. The way staff empowers the children and works with their individual needs and personalities is amazing. I myself continue to learn valuable parenting skills from the staff and weekly parent meetings. My children are so happy at MJP, the only struggle is getting them to leave at pick-up!

5 stars!! My family loves Mequon Jewish Preschool. It is truly unique and outstanding. We have one child that currently attends, and another that has already graduated. I have been impressed by the quality of the program and staff. During the "Dad's Day", where fathers visited the classroom, I noticed how my 3-year-old daughter independently went to the kitchen to get the challah dough so that everyone in her class could make a Shabbat challah. This is just one example (of many) of how the children are empowered and taught to help out and take responsibility. Another reason I like the school is the way that they teach jewish values and traditions. The children have so much fun that they really become excited about judaism while simultaneously creating strong friendships with their classmates. I could keep going with more and more reasons... but if you're looking for a preschool, definitely choose MJP.

My girls have had two amazing summers at Mequon Jewish preschool. From the moment they walked in they were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Every minute at school was a positive learning experience, whether it was building a birdhouse or building relationships and friendships. I wish I lived here year-round so they could attend all year long.

There are no words to describe the amazing love and education the children receive at Mequon Jewish Preschool. Each child is treated as an integral part of a beautiful community. We are so blessed to have this school in our lives.
