Typically, I don't have a bad experience here. This particular time, I did. There were some diaper Hello Bello that were labeled 9.50, so I put 3 boxes in my cart. When checking out, they rang up much more so I said something about it. The cashier Paige was GREAT. She was kind and understanding, and even sent someone to check where I had grabbed the diapers from. Instead of kindly saying they couldn't do anything about it, I was borderline yelled at by the shift lead, Cassie. Definitely will be limiting my trips and won't be purchasing diapers here in the future.

I have a long review.
On 6-17 I went to Menomonie Walmart in search of getting a straight talk phone.
On this first trip Mike in electronics helped me out (Mike was doing what he could and was very kind) and explained the straight talk rep was not there and would be at 11:00. So I left, went back at 11:30. Still no straight talk rep! Very frustrated, Mike tried to call straight talk and told me he didn’t know when the rep would be there. So I left again, went back at 5:30, still no rep. Very angry at this point.
Called Walmart on 6-19, the lady on the phone said that they never have a straight talk rep in the store. After telling her that wasn’t what I was told and asking her more questions, she finally said, yes we have phone reps but the network was down. Now more frustrated! Called again 6-20 and asked if a straight talk rep was there, the lady who answered said yes we have phone reps here.
So drive to Walmart again. Got there and no one came over to help. Walked up to the desk and asked a man with long hair for help (he had NO name tag on). He asked what he could do and I asked if he could activate a straight talk phone for me and his answer was “I’d rather not”, now very very frustrated. He proceeded to tell me in his words “straight talk sucks”
He tried to tell me that it will not work anymore soon because towers were bought out. He tried to tell me T mobile was better. Now at this point I realized he was a salesman (not for straight talk). He bashed it over and over again and told me all these horrible stories. I told him I have had straight talk for 6 years and then he would tell me another story. I wasn’t there to be sold on something else. He was super rude and snarky. And finally he told me he was going to help someone else and left me. I have never be so appalled in my life. While I was standing there another phone guy came up and asked if I needed help. I said the other guy was talking to me and he said ok. But I asked him about straight talk and he also told me it sucked! The actually said suck. This has been such an awful experience and straight talk had nothing to do with it. I definitely hope these people aren’t this rude to all people that come in and ask questions or want help. I definitely will never again go back to the electronic department and ask for help there again.
Worst experience ever.
Left there with no phone

It’s a Walmart not much to say other than that. I will say their fruit and veggies section needs A LOT OF WORK!!! Most of the fruits and veggies were old, do better! This is a big issue! Customer service was normal for a Walmart .

The auto center over tightened the lug nuts on the tire they changed so much that they broke off going down the highway. When stopped, only 1 was left. Very dangerous.
For the other car done a few months earlier, they were over tightened and trying to take them off ruined lugs and threads.

I know they have a policy where if you find something and it’s shown as a different price they have to honor it. The cashier, Paige, was very understanding and so kind, but Cassie, who came to help when the item rang up incorrect from the price it was marked on the shelf where it was, was very rude and disrespectful. She tried to tell me that I did not get that item from the spot I said I did and then proceeded to argue with me about where I grabbed the item. Thank you so much to Paige, for being so helpful and generous. No thank you to Cassie, for the way you spoke to me and my sister.

Walmart is always a great place to shop for your groceries, house wares and clothes. Order online and pick up at your local Walmart.

Scammed by Walmarts electronic dept. Sold a AT&T hotspot after sales rep (Stacy V.) told me for $50.00 a month I got unlimited internet. So I bought the hotspot and find out it's $69.00 a month and not unlimited. No such thing as $50.00 unlimited plan according to AT&T. Walmart tells me to return it if I want. Of course I lose the activation fee. AT&T can do anything. Suggestion is don't trust the electronics dept. By the way Stacy I'm trying my hardest to get you fired!!!!!!!! I'm sure I am not the only one you have done this too.

Recovering from a recent ankle surgery and used an electric charged shopping cart. When I turned it on it told me 12 hours of charge. After picking up some cat litter and cat food I got a low battery warning and the cart stopped moving. While limping and carrying my items I told 3 different employees that my cart ran out of battery. Not one offered to getme another. I'm not concerned that the battery died, mechanical issues happen, im appalled at the lack of compassion and customer care.
