Mac and Loren (the pharmacists) are simply amazing! They know their customers well and if they don’t, they strive to get to know their customers’ medical history well. One cannot overemphasize the importance of this characteristic. They are customer-focused and customer-centric. They are very polite, courteous, and friendly and completely conceal the stress they (must, I imagine) go through in their role addressing the needs and urgency their customers bring to them vs. all the other hoops they must jump through—including documentation, dealing with ill-informed people at medical offices, prescription approvals by pharmacy benefit managers, and the compliance requirements. I don’t know anything about their personal lives, but if they have any personal issues like every American does, they don’t show it on their faces or allow them to affect their personal behavior. They just take these things in stride and muddle through with poise and equanimity. They never get upset, and are always happy to talk to their customers.
They train pharmacy technicians and the full-of-nonsense entity that owns this business send the trained people elsewhere.
It’s very clear to the observant eye that they need support with a permanent tech, and more room in their pharmacy. This is a very busy pharmacy. The management recently approved them a ½-hour lunch break which they owed them for years on end.
Mac and Loren are so vital to my healthcare, and so well help me keep my health that I would never return to this pharmacy if they leave or are transferred elsewhere.
In summary, I can’t say enough about their professionalism. If (or if you’re fed up with another one) you want a great pharmacist at a pharmacy that has extended hours, is accessible via drive-through, and has a customer focus, then this IS the place.
i only hope their employers appreciate the value they bring to their business and the community they serve.
PS. Neither is related to me in any manner, and I have no conflicts of interest. I only write compliments that I mean.
This is an addendum from 9/6/24:
My wife and I went there to get our flu shots. Getting an appointment was quite easy, and Lauren got us a slot for 9/6 on 9/5. All the paperwork was ready; we just had to update the questionnaire. Mac was working and was cordial and inquired whether we needed any help with anything else. Amy (?name) the tech, gave us the shot. She has been filling in, and was well trained to make them no more painful than a mosquito bite. All in all, we were in and out in less than 6 minutes.
This pharmacy and the professional staff that work there (Lauren, Mac, and the technicians) are an asset to the community. We get all our vaccinations and medications there.
Thank you (Lauren, Mac, and the technicians). It’s clear they need more space there. Hope their management sees it the same way as we do.

Poor customer service. The management is not involved with there employees, Karen the director of the store is rude, now I can see why the employees act like the do. Done with the place.

Mac is the best pharmacist! After going to a national chain for many years, I got tired of the lack of communication and poor customer service. Pick N Save keeps me informed if a prescription is out of stock and even calls around to different ones and calls me to tell me where I can find it. Mac is so personable and knows me and my family. He is always smiling and helpful. This has been the best pharmacy to work with by far.

It's hard to get a fair price for food. One needs to use their terrible app to get the proper price. Very poor internet connection in store. App is difficult to navigate

The deli is the slowest service in the area. The selection is limited and it's a good 20 min wait to get your order filled. Nice guy ,but spends more time socializing than he does actually filling the order. Talk to the assistant store manager, who basically said that's the way it is because they can't hire good workers. He sure made that statement accurate. All self check out so they don't have to pay those employees...maybe they could put that money towards a good deli

New to this pharmacy. What a great experience. Lauren, the pharmicist, was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. I switched over from Walgreen's to this pharmacy and it's a completely different atmosphere. A five star pharmacy. I'm glad I made the switch.
