The owner never showed up for his soap-making class after we drove 45 minutes in the snow to get there. He did not seem to think this was a big deal when I called the store number to see what was going on. I still have not received my refund 1 month later.

My daughter and I were to attend a Saturday morning class. Class was purchased through "Eventbrite". We arrived for the class on time, to find the store dark, (no one was there). Soon, others arrived for the class as well. We drove 45 minutes for nothing. We got on the phone with the owner who was very nonchalant about the fact that he couldn't make it to the class and that no one had been notified. Neither he or Eventbrite bothered to notify anyone that the class wouldn't take place. He assured us of a refund. It's been three weeks, and still no refund. It's bad enough that we wasted our Saturday morning, but the fact that we've not received our refund yet is unacceptable.

I just want to share my experience with Eventbrite and BodyTech Cosmetics of Menomonee Falls Wisconsin. We, (my daughter and I) signed up for a soapmaking class at BodyTech. This was signed up and paid through Eventbrite. When we got to the store for the class, no one was there. Long story short, the class had been cancelled and neither BodyTech nor Eventbrite bothered to let anyone know. Which of the two is to blame, I don't know and I don't care. I totally "get it" that things happen and sometime there needs to be a cancellation, (we just had a snow storm the night before). I got on the phone with the owner and he stated that he lives in Illinois and couldn't get to WI due to the snow. Okay fine, I get it. Things happen. But this isn't the carrier pigeon age,,, if something needs to get cancelled, you let the people know. Again, who is more to blame,,, Eventbrite or BodyTech,, I don't know and I don't care but both these businesses need to get their act together and prevent this from happening again and my daughter, (who paid for the class) better get her refund ASAP. In all fairness, the owner did offer to come to our home to do the class with us the next day, but we weren't interested as my daughter had other plans already. Sorry for the redundancy, but I'm posting this under both BodyTech and under Eventbrite if I can because both need to implement a plan to contact people should a class need to be cancelled.

Can I just tell you what an awesome place this is?! My mom and I took a class back in May for soap making and it was awesome. Dan explained everything extremely well and was also very funny. We had such a good time, I decided to stay after and make some bath bombs. Ivy helped me with this and she was also wonderful! I asked a ton of questions, and never once did they seem annoyed. You can tell Ivy and Dan both really love what they do and enjoy teaching other people how to make bath and body products. I tried to make bath bombs at home and even was able to email Dan to help me troubleshoot. I've also found that the products they carry are less expensive then other online resources, which is nice because I like to support locally when I can. I've now gone back 2 separate times to make more soap. So glad this place is around!

The owner Dan is extremely rude. He is angry and verbally abusive. We were hired to provide pest control services and after signing a contract, he was extremely rude to us when we did contractual services. Then he didn't want to pay for service. I had a hunch this would happen from the first time i met him. Very unprofessional and verbally abusive.
