Very friendly front desk. Always busy but efficient. Most basic medical needs are available. The occupational and physical therapy department is very personable

Husband went to Urgent Care and saw Stacie Binter NP. He had headaches, fatigue, decreased appetite and weight - in fact down 75 lbs from last interaction 18 mo prior, stomach pain/cramps and shortness of breath. Only test she did was Covid (negative) He was tachycardic when there (fast heartrate) Not one test or imaging, labs, were done. She was in the room only a few minutes. Documents clear lungs, he had no coughing or wheezing- and she diagnosis him with bronchitis. She considered no other possibilities. Started him on inhaler and steroids. He died at home 4 days later from diabetic ketoacidosis. She put a diabetic on steroids! (Read up on the dangers of that) Once a complaint was filed, Auroras response was they found no wrongdoing and he was treated appropriately with the covid test. They would not comment on why none of his other issues were addressed. Totally disgusting and unethical. Before all of this, he was a healthy individual with an occasional allergy issue! I will continue to tell his story to everyone I meet and warn them how Aurora runs a business versus practicing medicine. They place uneducated NP's and PA's in Urgent care to cut costs. Their management team and quality review committee supports incompetence and substandard care. Thanks for leaving my daughter without a father Aurora!

My doctor was great and the reception staff we're very friendly. I'm having the same issue as some other reviews here. I scheduled for an appointment for a preventative care visit. I asked the receptionist if it was covered because I got a pre-payment suggestion of $700, I told her I wouldn't be going to my appointment if it wasn't fully covered by my insurance.I received a bill of almost $200. I was charged with both a Preventative Care visit and a new patient visit. My previous primary care doctor (I moved from out of state) did not have an additional charge to onboard, they just updated my records from within the Aurora network. I tried to call to ask for help or clarification department, and the person in the billing department would not connect me with anyone else even though I asked repeatedly.I wish their policies were more clear and that the reception staff didn't give me false promises about what to expect from the cost of the appointment. Wish I had found somewhere else because the billing department seems both inflexible and the whole process was shady and misleading.

If it's the Menomonee Falls location; I will never go back. Only the people at the front desk LISTENED to me. That's all I care to comment cuz I've had GREAT service @the smaller Aurora locations. (new to this area & have been in the HealthCare field 50yrs in WB, Marshfield WI, etc) NO excuse...

Please beware if you sign up for a physical/well check up you can be over charged. This has happened to me in the past and once had it reversed and again for my 40 min appt., this past Feb., I was charged for another appointment $499. So the physical cost like $599 which my insurance covers but then they charged me another $499 as another appt., It breaks my heart people want to take advantage of some of us. I made an appt., for a physical only and that is 40 min. I did not ask any questions or expect anything but what my appt., was for.The below is what I sent to my Doctor:I was surprised I did not receive a reply that you might help me with this situation. Please explain why my appt., for a physical/check up was not honored as such but instead it went beyond what I asked for and was billed $499 more? In your letter you mentioned I should break up my appts., but I did not ask for an appt., to discuss any issues, I simply put in for my yearly, why do you have the choice to cause that appointment to turn into more? I did not ask for that to happen. I would think you would help me settle this issue. When I come in for sinus issues you don't all of a sudden ask me about my knee or back, etc., So why is this appointment taken for granted that it can be expanded for the benefit of the doctor and Aurora to make more $$ off of me. I believe that is a very good question that someone at aurora should be able to answer me.

Worse clinic and the overall environment is ridiculous. The amount that they charge for something as small as blood it's bad. When it comes to making an appointment for my sick husband the receptionist were so rude. My advice to everyone is that find a different clinic if you want to save your money and time.

This place saved my and many other body parts over the years. Home of the best Doc a fella can see. The staff here is always cheerful and most helpful. I would recommend Aurora to any and all who are in need for any type of medical assistance!

Got a mole removed. Procedure took about 30 seconds. Dermatologist and assistant were friendly. The health side is great, but how can you possibly say that a 30 second procedure quantifies a $1,355 price tag? This is the reason socialization comes up in politics, when it becomes unreasonably high priced.
