Makes promises they can’t keep. Was told they could take my kiddo in June/July. Then it was backed up to September. Here we are to December and I haven’t heard anything in months.Extremely frustrating as I took my child off other waitlists because I was told he’d be going here.Pretty sure their “waitlist” is simply nonexistent. I have heard similar issues with other families.

I would not recommend after pulling our 18 month son out after only a couple months. Teacher communication wasn't great but most importantly diapering was a big issue.

We couldn't be happier with our daycare choice! Our daycare teachers for both my children, are exceptional and work well with the Appleton Area School District. My son needed additional help with speech and coping skills, and they implemented his IEP with ease and called the school when they needed more guidance etc. My son started there at the age of 2, and is now a growing, bubbling 5 year old. My daughter is 3.5 and has so many friends + gets to see her brother on the playground on occasion. They made the sibling separation easy for them and lets them pop in to say when they need to see each other.

This is the BEST child care center in the Fox Valley. The child care teachers are awesome and certified. I feel at ease leaving my children in this day care.

This is the best place that I have ever worked. I have been in child care for a few years now and this is my 4th center I have been to. I can promise you that bringing your child here will be the best decision you can make. Everyone does everything they possibly can to make the children happy and learning to be fun. The director, Julie, is a very understanding genuine person and does everything in her power to make everything run smoothly. The teachers care about each and every child and work hard to make sure that the children are getting everything they need. The teachers also take their jobs seriously and enjoy actually teaching and interacting with the children. You can tell that the people here love their jobs and that the children and parents are happy to come here every day.

As the director Katie Hulke, I would like to say thank you to the Mielkes. We are pround and thankfull to care for your children. I would like to thank all the parents that have trusted their children in our care. I will say that the teachers here at TSACLC are some of the finest Men and wemon I have ever had the honor to work with.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with the Salvation Army Children's Learning Center, however, our feelings have only increased about this family of care providers since our youngest daughter was born. We have a 3 year old who has gone there since she was 12 weeks and now have a 14 month old who attends daycare at the Salvation Army as well. Our youngest was born with a birth defect and needed extremely specialized care from 11 weeks to 6 months. The team at Salvation Army was able to face her challenges and spent a good deal of time learning how to care for her and her special needs. Our daughters condition now requires her to be on a particularily challenging food diet. This daycare has gone above and beyond to provide specific foods/meal options for her. They keep in constant contact with questions about her food restrictions and keep detailed notes throughout the day for us. As a working mom my mind has never been more at ease. Both of my daughters teachers (and everone in between) have been highly professional while still giving them the love that you can only hope to find when you choose a daycare provider. They really feel like a part of our family and that is incredibly important to my husband and I since they spend more time with our kids during the week then we do. We highly recommend the Salvation Army Children's Learning Center.

VERY disorganized! There was no consistency in my child's classroom. I couldn't believe how rude the director Katie Hulke was to me when I expressed my concerns to her. She seemed to have an excuse for everything. I would NOT consider this a place to bring your child.

It has been an absolutely wonderful experience having my children cared for by the staff at The Salvation Army Children's Learning Center! From the moment we walk through the door, we are greeted by friendly voices, smiles and a genuine sense of caring from all that we come in contact with. My 4 year old daughter is excited to go there every day to learn, do activities and play. My 7 year old son has been a part of the Summer Camp program for the last two years and just LOVES it. He can't wait for next summer so he can go back to Summer Camp every day. In fact, he looks forward to days off of school so he can go to the Salvation Army Children's Learning Center and reconnect with his friends & teachers. It is obvious that the teachers enjoy being with the kids and watching them grow physically, emotionally and socially. They also have a passion for challenging each child to do their best at every age level. I would highly recommend The Salvation Army Children's Learning Center to anyone wanting quality child care for their little ones. As working professional, it gives me a sense of peace knowing that my children are so well cared for. The Salvation Army Children's Learning Center has truly been a blessing to us!
