I wanted to leave more stars for the fun we had looking around. We came to buy gag gifts for Christmas and found a few novelties to take back to Florida with us. We got to the checkout and after paying and everything, we just stood there staring at the cashier waiting. Suddenly, he said, "Oh, we don't have any bags" WHAT?? PUT UP A SIGN!! It was such an awkward moment! I had to reach over and buy a freaking bag! I would have brought bags if I'd known. Y'all really need to put up a sign. I recommended that to the person who checked us out.

I stopped giving my business to goodwill years ago. Biggest reason… they exploit a majority of disabled people for cents an hour in their work force. The average pay for a disabled goodwill employee is under $1 per hour, usually around .10-.20-.30-.40 cents per hour. They justify this by saying disabled people just want to work and feel useful, and that they don’t really care how much money they make. It’s wrong. A disabled person should be paid fairly. Period. But yet this “so-called” nonprofit pays its executives six figure salaries or higher per year. Seems very backwards to me.The other biggest reason I stopped giving my business to goodwill is because most of what they take in for resale now is overpriced junk. They take whatever is dropped off, sort through nothing, mark the resale prices ridiculously high, and then just throw it on a shelf.goodwill is a nationwide corporation. We have plenty of locally owned resale stores here in the Valley that deserve our business more than goodwill ever should.

They have stopped separating cloths. So lazy! And prices are just to high for a used donated shirt. I can get a new one at Marshall's or tjmaxx for a dollar more.

I think goodwill need to improve their such behaviors change.. I’m advising everyone to decline shopping but antiques stuff is okay to purchase as long you don’t talk to at employees then you are good if the employees is following you around please advise contacting the corporate and hope you will understand this process works. If any doesn’t resolved this point contact the Appleton police department.

JANICE (extremely tall old woman manager) follows customers around and acts like she’s above working here. Other employees (Farzana) are rude and shouldn’t work retail if they’re so bothered. The filthiest and most unorganized goodwill in the fox valley. The store was ran better before under different management. Avoid this overpriced, dirty, unpleasant and trashy store and go to the other locations. Corporate- if you get rid of some of the unsavory employees this location wouldn’t be so bad.

Sunday 3/19 mens bathroom nasty n dirty .no toilet paper at all..looked terrible..this was at 530 pm ..don't send anyone in those bathrooms

We shopped on Tuesday, Feb 7, 2023. We were going to purchase 2 pairs of men's jeans. These were under a sign that stated 50% off. We were at the register when I asked the associate, 50% off right. She said no, but asked manager who also said no. I said there was a sign there and pointed it out to them. I said then you need to take that sign down. Needless to say we did not buy them.Very disappointed.
