We had been going here for years. The last two years the service continued to get worse. We had major delays getting our taxes done(many excuses), voice-mail was always full, and they failed to get back to us in a timely manner. We canceled our "auto appointment" that is set up every year and went somewhere else. After having them done(while we sat there) we also found out that Fox Cities Tax was basically ripping us off cost wise. We will never go back there nor will we ever recommend them!

Run, do not walk away from this business. The first year they filed our info away in an amended file cabinet. The next year they forgot to file an extension which I didn't realize until I started getting letters about liens on our houses from the IRS. Other things are just too numerous to mention. We had another tax business review those years. The new business found numerous mistakes and not only did we have thousands coming back due to those mistakes, but money we had had to pay to the State along with penalties and interest should not have been owed. They literally cost us thousands of dollars and many lost nights of sleep. I don't normally leave bad reviews like this, but they have left us no recourse, and even charged us for services that they had screwed up and not charged us for before. Beware.

I have been so impressed with the personal attention to detail, research to be current with ongoing change in tax laws! Jill and her staff have helped me be thorough and even given recommendations on how to be more efficient in my records as well as in compliance to get the best benefits. I highly recommend and will continue to utilize the multitude of services Fox Cities tax offers to help even expand my LLC business. My personal and business taxes are prepared promptly amd customer service is excellent. I've had my taxes done here since I started working as a freelancer several years ago. I picked them because Jill was the only person willing to listen to the details of my situation, since it's a little unconventional. Not only has she gotten my taxes done promptly, she's been available to answer my questions and help me re-calculate my estimated tax payments throughout the year due to fluctuations in my income.

Dont waste your time! They are RUDE, lack communication and customer service, and take forever! Went to first appointment and was rushed to get out of there because it went over my appt time and she said she needed to take her next person. They must only schedule 30 minutes a person. Shouldnt we have been scheduled for an hour then since i told them we had 2 tax returns. Had to schedule a 2nd appt, I was the last appt of the day at 630pm. I waited over 30 minutes past my appt time to see her and they were now closed (they close at 7) she didnt want to have the appt with me and once again rushed me out. 2 weeks later I called and they said it wasnt done. It still had to go to their person who double checks the returns before filing. Said it will take at least another week because 1 of the people who checks them is on vacation. I asked if she could just look at mine quick and let me know approximately how much I'll be getting back and how much this tax preparation will cost me. She said no it's in a locked cabinet that she doesnt have a key to. She then said we r closed and hung up on me. They close at 5pm I called at exactly 5pm. If they are closed dont answer the phone. I went to pick up my file the next day they were open because I was not going to file with them anymore. When I walked in the girl at the front desk slapped my file on the counter and said you're welcome. Wow just wow. The place is muggy and smells of smoke.

Takes forever. The lady we worked with only works a couple days out of the week. It was hard to get a hold of her. Took two weeks after my appointment to finally get in touch with her. Another week to finalize everything. Won't be going back and I do not recommend this place. Up side...I do like how they are willing to quote you first then you can decide to file with them for not.
