“I had visited Rubin’s a dozen times over the years and had always wanted a really nice sofa. When the time was finally right, we visited the new showroom and ran into JJ. After narrowing our selection down to 2 sofas, JJ visited our home to lend his design expertise and draw up how each sofa would fit into our space. We settled on the Titan and some additional recommendations for our space and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was white glove and after sale communication has been great.Purchasing a piece from Rubin’s is a big deal, these are high quality pieces that are accompanied by high quality service. “The staff at this location was both a very polite, and incredibly helpful. I do not live in this area, but was here for work and popped in because I saw the -sale- sign outside. I was greeted at the door and told about the sale by a lovely young woman, and after looking around and scoping out their Halloween decor, but not finding the piece I had seen at my local Kirklands (before the sale), I approached the gentleman behind the counter. I had taken photos, so he looked it up and it did not look like they were going to be getting it anytime soon. He informed me that the sale was chainwide, and not just this location, and then offered to call the store I had seen the item at and have them hold it for me.
Above and beyond! Customer service really does make a difference, and that gentleman made my day!”

“Unique store. Neat variety of merchandise. My son bought many stickers which were $1 each. He also bought a banana duck which is so unique. There was local artist work for sale. There was random items which I really liked. Many of the prices were high. I do understand that it a locally owned store.
The shop owner recommended other shops according to our interests.

“Staff here are super nice and easy to work with. Guy was very helpful including carrying items to our car. We never felt pressured to buy anything and the prices are super reasonable. We’re very happy with our purchase.Also, we saw encouraging signs that staff have hanging up for each other and things for staff birthdays. “Rubin's is either your cup of tea or not. The styles are generally modern, Scandinavian inspired and very interesting. We stopped at their warehouse/larger store (there is also a design center downtown) and found a large showroom full of things I'd very much like to buy. There's a clearance area off to the side that sells floor models and returns at good discounts. We were looking for some lounge-y chairs and there were options aplenty. Helping us was very knowledgeable Barb who was never intrusive and let us look around. After making the rounds, we kept coming back to one specific chair - Barb let us know they had 2 in stock from a cancelled order (most things are made to order) in our preferred color, plus they were included in their anniversary sale. SOLD!! I work on the commercial furniture side and felt that the quality here was oberall very high and the prices, for what you get, are pretty fair. It's not IKEA prices to be fair but it's also not made in China crap that will fall apart and bottom out in a few months. You'll love it if: you appreciate mid century or modern design, want a high level of quality, want to customize items. You won't like it if: you need cupholders in your furniture.”

The clothes selection is a cross between comfort and style, boho and chic, and traditional with modern flare. Perfect for island living or keeping cool in warmer weather because of the fresh linen. You could decorate a home with the wide variety of interior adornments. I'm glad I stopped by.”

“I was looking for an obscure replacement bobbin for a 1966 Singer sewing machine. I called Joann Fabrics on Zeir Rd and spoke with Acosia (hope I have correct spelling). She spent some time checking their inventory. Then got back on the phone and told me they have some that may work but I should bring in my bobbin to be sure. Then she also found phone numbers for two local sewing businesses that she thought might be able to help! Wow, amazing customer service, Acosia! Joann Fabrics is lucky to have you!”
