The customer service here is awful. I wanted to take my gator in and I know they are 2 weeks out. I wanted to make an appointment in 2 weeks to get work done, but they won’t do that. They told me I had to bring my Gator in and then they would schedule the work. I don’t want my machine sitting out in there lot for 2 weeks while I wait. I called Duluth Lawn and sport and they were happy to schedule me without taking my machine in first.

Just bought my John Deere and stopped in the gear up with some swag and found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. All I needed was a seat to replace my ripped one and they happily helped and gave me a hat to celebrate my new purchase. Great guys in business. We're happy to have a John Deere dealer in town

I work for a township in Douglas county and have had nothing but EXTRAORDINARY servise from the parts guys at northland. Kurt is an absolute Rockstar and is an amazing at customer service. Kurt has went out of his way to find us parts, pricing, shipping and has saved us hours of time and money! I Kurt ever decides to part ways with northland lawn and sport it would be a grave loss to this outfit!

This John Deere dealer is top notch! I’ve had nothing but great experiences here as a self employed landscaper and homeowner! My sales guy, Jeff, is very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. We switched over to John Deere because of Gary in service. He is quick to respond, very thorough, has great communication, and cares about giving me minimum down time while servicing my equipment. I’ve had nothing but fabulous, quick service from him. Joe the master mechanic is very knowledgeable, highly trained, kind, and informative. He’s great to work with and always gets the job done right. The rest of the staff has always been kind and helpful. I look forward to doing continued business here as my business grows and I continue to get top notch service from Jeff, Gary, and Joe!

We recently moved to northern WI and I bought a riding lawnmower, Polaris ATV, and a couple of implements for my tractor and I was relatively happy with the sales and parts department. The service department, however, has been a huge headache and I've since went to other dealers in the area for a new tractor, snowmobiles, etc. We've given the Mason location multiple chances to service our equipment that we bought from them and my wife and I are done and will never go back to any Northland dealer.They refuse to schedule service and ask to drop the machines off and they'll get to it in 2-3 weeks. I've never heard of a service department not doing scheduling. We gave them a try and it first started with our new lawnmower where I just wanted fluid put in the tires. We dropped it off and they said they'd get to it in 2 weeks. Well, two weeks went by and we hadn't heard anything so we called them and they had no idea we had dropped the lawnmower off. They "found" it about an hour later and told me they can't put fluid in the tires but we could do suitcase weights which I could have just installed myself.Since then, I've had to take my ATV in for various things like an idling problem, oil change, and a plastic cover that keeps coming off. Every time they refuse to schedule the service and tell me to drop it off and they'll get to it in 2-3 weeks. These are all brand new machines with minor issues and I need them to maintain my property and can't be without them for 2-3+ weeks while it sits on their lot.Regarding the cover that gets into the steering column, I had Northland "fix" "it twice and they apparently never documented the problem which is now an issue because I had to contact Polaris directly about it. I called the Northland service department back and I didn't get the impression that they took it seriously and again, was told they don't schedule service and to drop it off for 2-3 weeks. I've since taken it to another Polaris dealer and they finally fixed it and said that the ATV wasn't assembled properly.It's been about 1.5 years and Northland has not impressed me and I will never go back.

I recently purchased a John Deere X350 with snowblower attachment for my parents, Jeff Mergen was great to deal with and made my purchase go smoothly, on top of that, they took the time to deliver it and explain the operation to my parents. Stellar customer service

I wanted to set up an appointment I Grand Rapids for my Gator UTV to be serviced. They said, "We do not have to do that. Just bring it in and we will get right on it." 7 working days later I went in and inquired on the status. They then said they are one month behind. They had not even moved it since I dropped it off. This is why I wanted an appointment. They complained that I gave them only 7 working days to service it. I took it back without it being touched by the service guys. I need to find someone else to service my Gator. Others may not be better but they cannot be any worse. I have not had this problem with the Floe side of Northland. As far as John Deere goes they have terrible to non existent service.
