All the cashier are nice and glad to see the diner back up, just wished they didn't replace the classic rural atmosphere with a modern minimalist atmosphere.

Two strikes you're out. Visited for the second time on 6-22-23 at 6:30pm Had BLT with EX Bacon Thank god we asked for extra bacon otherwise there wouldn't be any on the sandwich. Then proceeded to watch them turn business away because it was 7:03pm. Kitchen closes at 7, H*** of a way to make a business go in a farming community when you're Closing At 7o'clock. You will never survive in this community. And that is SAD....

I used to drive 2 hours just to get their fried chicken dinners but now they remodeled and changed all their best meals to once a week specials and what ever didn't fit they got rid of. I'm pretty disappointed that I can only get their chicken dinner on Saturdays. I think for now on I'm just gonna go to the hitching post down the street. This place has nothing truly special left to make it worth going to. EDIT - removed a 2 stars. that burger was flavorless. I would've been better of going to a McDonald's. On top of the they leave opened bottles of mayo at each table. That is not safe mayo needs to be be refrigerated.

Used to love this place, after trying with new owners, food has no flavor, how can you ruin biscuits and gravy, don't know but they found a way (ps) prices have doubled

We were actually looking for a spot to have a cup of coffee before a workshop at the historical society. It was a surprise to see that there was a restaurant was located inside. Staff was helpful and when I asked if we should sit at the corner or at a table I was told a table was fine. It was a nice place.

They messed up my carry out meal and when I called the waitress was combative but told me to come in and they will straighten out. When I told them what they forgot the cook also jumped in to defend the waitress. The funny thing about this is all I asked was for the food I didn't get. I then paid for it seeing it was never changed to me but they wouldn't give me the$2.50 back for mashed potatoes I paid for but never got. I thought the cook was going to attack me, so I left.There're many nice restaurants, dinners, and supper clubs in the area, so I'm not going to miss them.

We've eaten there many times and have always been very pleased with the food. Chicken, fish, prime rib, shrimp, never disappointed. Highly recommend this place.

We walked out before even sitting down. It was almost empty, one table of seniors. The waitress/hostess saw us come in, rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and mumbled to herself. She turned back around and ignored us for a bit. We looked at each other like, did you just see that too? If you don't want customers to come in, put a closed sign up. We are new to the area and with the diminishing and seriously aging population in this area, I would think every customer would be precious.

Stopped by after hitting the various Amish places in the area. What a find!!!!!!!!- Yes it is not the Ritz but who cares when the food is good quality. Honestly wasn't expecting much and didn't know if I had the right place but then I saw Sherriff coming out. I knew it was going to be good. I had their 5.99 fish fry. You get 3 pieces of haddock but that is the only thing that I took a star away from. They were not very big and served on a plastic plate. What I did love is the taste. It was fresh not fishy old tasting. The breading was just right and not oily. Yeah the FF did have a little fish taste but it was so remote I didn't think about it. The price was right on. Just a suggestion I would rather pay $1 more to have 4 pieces or the option of all you could eat fish. The lady I had as a waitress was awesome. Just wish I knew her name. Didn't like the rude behavior of another waitress who had blond hair and glasses saying she doesn't work Friday nights or fish. Her behavior was a big turn off. Actually cut another person off when they ran up the bill like I am the only person who can help them. Bull! My waitress came to check on me several times while that other one just mouthed off. She would not be my first choice to return. What a find! Next time I will stop for breakfast before I hit the local stores.
