I have several things to say about this pharmacy and I have tried to put it on Google maps and it was taken down so I'm going to put it here so they can understand why I'm upset first my mom went to get my script as a prescription for a drug I take for IBS and I found out from mother that they didn't have me in the system according to the man she talked to and that there was another Jennifer in the system and it wasn't me number two since this follow-up I have been in constant pain and agony do to this issue not being taken care of properly and the last thing I would like to say is this if you put put a person in the system one day and then tell that same person or the relative that they're not in the system then either you're lying or you're making excuses so you don't have to serve that party and only reason I say this someone I know who's a pharmacist has said that is the number one reason this pharmacy loses its customers

This review is for the pharmacy, not the store. Some of the staff are nice, but sometimes, the service is beyond appalling. I went to pick up a medication recently, and the woman said it wasn't ready but would be in 15 minutes. Fine. I came back half an hour later, and she said, "You can't get that refiled until tomorrow." When I gently pointed out that she'd told me to come back to get it earlier, mostly trying to figure out which of her two responses was actually correct, she just shrugged and stared at me--no apology, no explanation, no actual kindness or service. I am VERY nice to people in customer-service positions, as I know they deal with jerks every day, so the rudeness was unnecessary. I have more of these stories, but I'll spare you. Also, I just sat on hold for 15 minutes at 7:30 p.m., and then someone picked up, grunted, and hung up on me. I always use the app/website, but on this rare occasion, I had to speak to someone. Fine, they're busy, but the automated hold message is straight out of hell. Perhaps they need to start accepting emails. If CVS still took our insurance, I'd switch over in a heartbeat.

I wish there was a way to comment to all the people complaining about pharmacy. I'm not an employee of Walgreens, however; I am a pharmacy tech . It's clear to me that anyone questioning phone policies has zero knowledge what happens in a fast paced work environment, where accuracy is not only expected but essential . We are NOT here to answer phones all day ... Doctors have a provider number that they call when needed; it's NOT the same number customers use , WHY ??? Because customers call for many strange reasons; DAILY !! You are important.... But so are the other 1000 people we help weekly . Do you think we like Covid ?! We Don't !' It's increased the amount of Daily duties we already had x10 . BTW .,,. No one wants to work , I'm sure your pharmacy needs help and is probably working short staffed ( just trying to fill the 100's of prescriptions daily ). So YA ... phone services SUCKS. . Apply for the job

This review is strictly for the pharmacy, but Walgreens store is responsible for the pharmacy. I try calling for my prescription orders, most the time I reorder through the app. I needed to get a prescription approved that was being declined for some reason. When I call this store's location and get rooted to the pharmacy, I'm noticing that my calls are not being answered. What I mean by that is, I call and hear someone answer and place the call on hold. Over and over again. I stayed on the line for 15 mins thinking someone would eventually say something, but NO. At first I didn't want to jump to conclusions, but then I decided to go up there because I couldn't get through. This is even after I try to call the store instead of the pharmacy. The store told me they aren't responsible for the pharmacy not answering there calls. Really?? So I go up there and stand in a line, yes they are busy, but I still don't find that an excuse to not answering the phones. What I found out is that yes indeed they were placing all calls on hold without talking to the customer. At least answer the phones and before placing on hold explain in a short statement that you are too busy to talk and that we will be holding. When it was my turn at the window I asked the girl if it was common practice to not answer there phones. Of course I already knew the answer bc this has happened several times to me here. She just said that they try to take turns answering the phones but they are busy. I asked her who was over the pharmacy and she pointed out Eric to me. So after I picked up the 3 that were ready, I went to Eric's window and asked him what the procedure was if they were busy and phones are ringing and if it was normal practice to place calls on hold repeatedly without talking to the customer. He was very unfriendly and in a cold and pompous way told me they are too busy to answer phones. I told him that if I couldn't get through that maybe my doctor couldn't get through and that's why my precast is being delayed. He offered "oh well" as a response. That's not acceptable. I asked him if the store manager was his boss and he said no. He made no effort to try to help me get my prescription filled. I told him that since I can't get his help I would go to CVS or Walmart. He said "go ahead". Later I contacted the corporate office and they said that they would file a complaint with corporate office, but they didn't tell me what that meant. I also called the store manager, Pat, who was very nice, but he was pointing out things like covid, and now the pharmacy is doing vaccinations so they are really busy. I get that, but if they are too busy to do what a pharmacy does for their steady customers, then maybe they shouldn't start vaccinations until they have a team to support their busy times. Customers for prescriptions should come first, in my opinion. I've been getting my prescriptions here at this location for 2 years. I've been a Walgreens customer elsewhere and never had these issues. By the way, the store manager, is over the pharmacist. So on top of everything, Eric lied. I hope something comes of this complaint. The store manager said in the first to complain. Don't people complain anymore? I guess they can't get through the phone lines to make a complaint.

Came up out of state to spend the week with my dad whos at his end days with cancer. Last time ill probably get to spend with him. I've called the dr and both the Walgreens I use in my city and the one in Marrinet to be sure I could fill my script out of state as without my medication I'm very Ill. I went in yesterday and they refused to fill it. For no other reason than it says your preferred pharmacy is one located in Illinois they would not fill it. Very unprofessional and would recommend going elsewhere.
