Went to Wells Fargo with a check today. They WOULD NOT DEPOSIT the check, because they couldn't verify the funds from a bank two blocks away. They called the bank and we're put on hold for a while. I had to go to work. Instead of putting a hold on the check and depositing into my account ( I didn't need the funds), they gave me the check back and told me to come back because they wouldn't deposit the check. So now I have to make another trip back to the bank. Thank you Angel the bank manager in Manitowoc, WI
Another fun fact, about a year ago, I went to Wells Fargo and there was a note on the door ( just a little note ) saying they were closed temporarily and the closest WF was 25 miles away. Well I was purchasing a boat and needed a cashier's check. Not only did I drive 25 miles out of the way, they charged me $10.00 for the cashier's check. I've had an account for many years and honestly at this point, Wells Fargo discusts me

I was purchasing a car in the area. I raced over to this location and got there right at 5 pm. The doors were still unlocked, and I thought here we go everyone working is going to hate me for being that guy who comes in right at closing. I DID NOT get treated like that at all. I dealt with Daniel and Angel, who both did a terrific job at keeping the whole experience positive and not rushed. I can't thank them enough for making this a great experience. Thank you again.

My daughter just had her account hacked. She had to set up another account. She has direct deposit at work and didn't have the account updated yet for direct deposit so her company wrote her a check she could cash and put it into her new account. She accidently attempted to cash the check a day early and Wells Fargo puts a 14 day freeze on it. I have been banking at this location close to 25 years and nearly 35 years at Wells Fargo. Very disappointing. Don't want to hear your excuses or your policy. You can do better than that

Everytime you see three people standing there. You go through the drive thru and are told, we are finishing up with the lobby. As you sit and wait, two people are doing nothing and one person is helping people in the lobby. Why don't you take a customer service class... You're suppose to help your customers not make them wait while you sit and talk. Customers are supposed to come first. Waiting in a drive through for 20 minutes is ridiculous.

Over the last two years this branch has gotten so excruciatingly slow in their drive-through it makes me want to bank somewhere else. I gave myself ampble time to run into town, even though I had only this and one other stop. There was only one other person already at the drive through when I got there and it was still 17 minutes before I was driving away. I could have found the money in my couch cushions faster.

While closing out deceased parents accounts can be challenging and difficult this branch has added unnecessary stress to our fairly simple amd straight forward request. They lost/shredded our scheduled appointment time twice, the next appointment we learned the printers were down after waiting an hour, on the 4th try we have called every number given to us and no one ever answers or bothers to return your call. Decided to use another location for this transaction and will be choosing another bank to handle our investments. Staff seemed friendly but highly unorganized. Sad to end my 25 year relationship with them.
