What I thought was going to be a regular grocery store turned out to be so much more. This is like a super Walmart on steroids. We are new to Manitowoc and decided to check put all the stores. We were impressed with the selection at Meijer. Espically the selection of organic and gluten-free foods. They have groceries, clothing, home goods, health & beauty, a pharmacy and electronics. The store is clean and bright with wide aisles for easy maneuvering. The customer service was great. Meijer will for sure be one of our go-to spots.

This store is much more than it appears from outside. This is like a Super Walmart. It has everything. I was impressed with their amount of organic, gluten-free, and ethnic choices. They sell a few things in bulk. You can buy a 20-pound bag of rice or a huge container of paprika. They have clothing, electronics, and sporting goods. A large health and beauty department and a pharmacy. This will be one of my go-to stores in Manitowoc.

Wow, clean neat and associates that talk to you. Thanks Meijer for being In Manitowoc. Also, I did not see a single customer in pajamas or slippers. See Manitowoc folks, some people actually do take a shower and get dressed before shopping.

Customer service beats Wal-mart any day. Refreshing change-up in product selection AND great sales. If ya want big box and not into the Wal-mart bodies, Meyer is the answer.

Charged my daughters twice on debit card over weekend. Now Tuesday still no refund back to her account and both daughters charged a third time!!!. Both keep going there asking when their money Meijer took from account only to get runaround and excuses. Someone steals something from their store they get police involved. Guess my daughters should so the same, right? Fair is fair. Better give my daughters' money back or there will be consequences and I advise everyone to stop shopping from these thieves.

New Meijers in Manitowoc that just opened in July. In comparison to the Meijers i am used to in Metro Detroit This store seems to be a bit smaller with a grocery centric focus. It has all the merchandise departments that you would expect from a Meijers but the selection is definitely on a smaller scale versus the super stores in metro Detroit. Relative to the food they have the typical large selection with some nice sales that are comparable to a Walmart. The strengths of the store included their meat department which had Angus choice select beef at very competitive prices. It also had a wide variety of produce and a large liquor selection Albeit with a focus on the more economical brands of wine and hard liquor.The store is clean and bright as you would expect with a new store with a very friendly and helpful staff. It is in an area with two strong competitors with a super Walmart and festival grocery market within a mile of this location. It is a bit surprising that a city the size of Manitowoc can have three grocery stores of this size so close together and all three be successful. Only time will tell and I hope this store does well as it definitely has its strengths. For those of you that are a fan of the Meijers chain this is definitely a nice addition to the Manitowoc retail scene and deserves your attention if you are in this area.

Typical Meijer; mid-sizes for the chain with both general merchandise and a large grocery store. Opened July 2020, so nice and clean. Average grocery store (I consider it much nicer than Walmart grocery). Good meat selection and prices. Basic liquor selection and bakery.
