I now understand why there are such low reviews for this hospital. I have a family member that is currently hospitalized there. They is no sense of urgency, common sense, it took an hour to find scissors to cut bracelets to prevent further damage to tissue. When you're placed on a liquid-only diet to prevent esophageal destruction you don't have the patient swallow a giant pill. And the list goes on...

My brother had a hip replacement yesterday. Very long wait times for pain meds and toileting. A certain CNA had a very very poor attitude. At one point we took our family member to the bathroom ourselves because we had rang 3 times for help and No one came. They continued to say somone was coming but No one did.... when we walked up to the desk and demanded help they still told us somone would be down shortly. As 3 of them sat at the desk. I have worked in nursing for 20 years. The way my brother was treated at this hospital yesterday is unexpectable. CNA'S should not scoff at patients roll their eyes. Every staff member that entered that room over the course of about 3 hours passed the buck to somone else. No accountability EXTRA long wait times. The bed alarm was going off for 20 min by the time somone finally came to turn it off.

I Stayed in the hospital for 5 days with a broken knee cap on the fifth floor. I was very impressed with the professional care I received from Dr. Abdelgadii, All the nurses, assistants, and physical therapists. They were very friendly, courteous, caring and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They always asked me if I needed anything else before they left my room. Being a Veteran who normally goes to the Milwaukee or Madison VA Hospitals I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised, and it was as good of an experience as one could expect with a harsh injury. Even the food was good, and only had one meal I didn't like. I can honestly Highly recommend Froedtert Holy Family Memorial to everyone. I will not hesitate to come back in the future if I have another emergency. A Huge Thank You to the excellent staff who took great care of me. 10-22-2024

I've attempted to call 3 times in a week's time. I work during their open hours so I do not have the time in my day to play telephone. The operator has no way to leave messages to a specific person unless by name because they aren't given a list of who is who. I don't even have an email I can reach out to. That isn't even my huge problem: my problem is I have a $469 bill for going in, dealing with an uninterested, disrespectful nurse who out the gate framed it like I was doing something wrong by detailing my symptoms to her and that I should have given them to my "primary" BEFORE going in, somehow? Then, the doctor took my normal vitals, looked up my nose (I've been having a sinus issue for over 3 years straight that appeared out of nowhere), forgot to check heart rate and did so at the very end of the appointment. Despite telling the doctor I had no allergies and that I've tried over the counter means, she said "I'm not going to have you go through an allergen test, I recommend a salene spray or a netty pot". This was after I blew my nose and found a concerning amount of blood, and the next morning woke up coughing and found more blood, after working with bleach. My symptoms haven't improved, I was treated horribly, and I can't even get in contact with anyone about my dissatisfaction. Nobody, not even their financial team, can seem to give me an itemized receipt to see why the cost is so high for such poor, basic service. I will continue to attempt to contact them until I can make them contact me by email only so I actually stand a chance, and get a good reason to pay half my paycheck to them blatently ignoring me and offering no help whatsoever.
If you care for your health, please research amd find a health institute that cares.

My husband was taken to this hospital July4,2024. He was diagnosed with a stroke. The Dr's and nursing staff on the 5th floor are wonderful. Pt, Ot, have absolutely no complaints about the care he received. Made many friends while he was there. Appreciate and miss them all so much. Again we thank you. God bless all of you

I can't say enough great things about Froedtert Holy Family Hospital. My wife Sandra had a full knee replacement done by an amazing surgeon, Dr. Robert Limoni. His communication was "off the charts" so to speak from pre-surgery all the way through post surgery. Even during surgery, messages were being sent to me via e-mail on the progress of my wife's operation. He went out of his way after the surgery was completed to find me and personally tell me how the surgery went. How many doctors would care enough about you to do this.
I feel like I can give you an honest review here because Dr. Limoni has replaced both of my knees and they both turned out perfect. His staff that works with him are also unbelievable as they to follow in his footprint that he has set the bar at. His concern about every detail of your past health history is very important as he lays out a plan to make your surgery a success and get you back to normal with no pain. DO NOT feel like you don"t know who to go to or where to have your knee or hip surgery. We are so very lucky to have Dr. Limoni and Froedtert Holy Family right here in Manitowoc,Wi.

3/28/24 My son was transported by ambulance to HFM ER with stroke symptoms. He was responsive with left side paralysis when he arrived. Stroke symptoms ignored & they claimed he was having seizures. Did nothing but give him a CT WITHOUT CONTRAST (can't see stroke without contrast) & various meds for seizures. For hours we begged ER doctor for treatment of stroke symptoms! We were ignored and he became unresponsive. After many hours & finally being told they have no neurologist on staff, the suggested admitting him to ICU for observation, we demanded my son be transfered to GB hospital! GB hospital immediately did EEG, no seizures detected! When I got there I told GB about stroke symptoms which HFM never even mentioned! Immediately a CAT scan WITH CONTRAST was done & massive stroke was found! Surgery was done but because of the time that had passed there was nothing else that could be done for my son. He died on 3/29/24. I would like to mention that he was a healthy 34 yr old man before 9pm on 3/28/24. Froedert billed $9,158.70 to not treat my son for the stroke symptoms he came in with & ensure the probability of his death!

Interesting when you go to get a check up and it could be for many different things. Come to find out that when they do certain checks, everything is on the high side. Example weight scale is off by 5 to 7 lbs above what your home scale. That way they can put you on medications you don't need to be on. It's a huge money game and it's wrong.

Go somewhere else. They waste so much time with not listening to simple things.
