I used to love coming to this grocery store 5 years ago, but the service received from the front end managers combined with their lack of payment options (taking CASH ONLY, with 2 atms in the whole store) left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll shop at metcalfes to avoid your unintelligent employees.Hopefully, they can hire a few employees who care, as Johanna (the front end manager) was impolite, inefficient and inadequate at her job.

I really dislike self check-outs. However, today a super nice and helpful young man named Steven helped me as my items kept stalling on the line and asked for an attendant on my check-out screen. He was not phased by it and was simply polite and helpful! I appreciated it greatly and want to recognize his professionalism! Thanks again Steven! Happy New Year!

I did not like a conversation between staff I overheard today while shopping. I was in the produce section a bit before 9:00am on 12/26/23 and heard three male employees talking about different Woodman's. They started talking about the Beloit location and made inappropriate comments about the city. As a proud Beloit native, I was not happy to hear the misconceptions. One employee said that in Janesville, they call Beloit "Betroit" for a reason. These racially charged comments are not ok, and the staff needs to do better. I also saw a "hiring" sign outside as I exited. No person from an underrepresented group would/should want to work here when you have staff like that.

I love that this place is open 24 hours, because if you go during normal business hours, it's so busy. They have all the groceries you could ever need and then some!

Added fences at self checkout, interesting. Just wish that they would open @ 8am, oh well life goes on and on and on......Something new 12/10 shopping experience, storage containers. Reasonable price. cool coffee beans
