Love the associated ownership concept, products are of good quality, no complaints other than tends to have long checkout aisles.

Do NOT buy meat at this location. Twice in a week we have bought meat (hamburger and ribs) that were *supposedly* 10 days BEFORE the expiration date…. And BOTH were rotten. Hey Phil, if we’re ever poisoned from your mishandled/mislabeled product, we *will* be litigating. The quality of your meat and produce has literally gone down the toilet.

One of the best grocery stores I’ve ever been in! Such a huge variety of everything to choose from and well laid out. They have cashiers to help you check out or you can do it yourself. The self check out areas are nice long belts, where it’s easy to scan and bag.

Under construction but still good store. Always a good selection and good prices. Love the way the check outs are set up. Very convenient that as a customer we don’t have to load the groceries onto a belt

I give them four stars for selection it is the best in the state! Customer service is non-existent at the same time you can see they're so busy stocking cuz the place is so incredibly busy. If you're looking for a great selection without that small shop customer service then you'll be fine.

This store is always chaotic. Self checkouts are incredibly slow and often inaccurate. Floor is from the 70’s so it’s SO LOUD with all the carts clunking over the fake bricks. And customer service isn’t what it was. They also only take discover credit cards- not cool.

The aisles are clearly labelled, so it's really easy to track down food items. There are also many available home essentials, such as body care products, books, cleaning supplies, over-the-counter medicines, etc.

New self checkout broke down. Cashier wouldn't give me the change I had put in before the checkout stopped working. It's hit or miss at this location. Staff is not helpful or very friendly. But I can't beat most of their prices vs. their competitors. Hope my next trip to Woodman's goes better!

BEWARE -- They only accept Discover credit card.Just moved to Madison. Had never been in a Woodmans. But I see its employee owned, thats good.Big store, lots of stuff. Then I get to the checkout. SLAM. They reject my VISA card which I have used throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. They want Discover card. You must be kidding.I didn't have the $140+ cash.Fortunately my friend had MC debit card, which worked. So I didn't walk away leaving the full cart sitting there. No way am I taking on another credit card just to shop at Woodmans.Good luck with your business decision. You should put a big sign on the front door indicating that you don't accept the most widely used credit cards.

In the vast expanse of Woodman's Food Market, my near-sighted eyes struggled to decipher the labels, my mind clouded by the weight of abandonment and rejection. But amidst the labyrinth of aisles, a beacon of compassion emerged—a customer service representative, their smile radiating warmth and understanding. With unwavering patience, they guided me through the maze of dairy products, gently leading me to the coveted Kefir, its creamy texture a soothing balm to my weary spirit. The kindness displayed by this extraordinary employee is a testament to Woodman's commitment to exceptional customer service. They not only resolved my immediate need but also extended a hand of empathy, acknowledging the invisible struggles that may lie beneath the surface. This act of compassion has left an indelible mark on my heart, reminding me that even in the darkest of moments, there is always light to be found.Beyond its stellar customer service, Woodman's Food Market boasts an unparalleled selection of groceries, catering to every taste and dietary preference. The shelves are brimming with fresh produce, succulent meats, and delectable baked goods, all displayed with meticulous care. The aisles are pristine, the air is filled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the staff is always eager to assist with a smile. But what truly sets Woodman's apart is its commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all shoppers. The store is well-lit, the floors are spotless, and the security personnel is vigilant in ensuring the safety of customers. This unwavering focus on safety fosters a sense of peace and安心, allowing shoppers to browse the aisles with confidence. In conclusion, Woodman's Food Market is more than just a grocery store; it is a sanctuary of compassion, abundance, and safety. The customer service is exemplary, the selection is unparalleled, and the atmosphere is inviting. I am deeply grateful for the kindness extended to me during my recent visit, and I highly recommend Woodman's to anyone seeking an exceptional grocery shopping experience.

Really great prices and the widest selection of any grocery store. Produce can be hit or miss, but it's a great store. Debit cards only.
