This is insane go in today just to get my meds for my severe lumbar spine issue. They got meds every where! Told something about inventory and that my meds were ready I would have to wait till 2 to get them though. I didn't realize what time I had come in to get my meds at the time. The lady behind the counter was bagging medications for someone else. Tells me Oh your meds are ready but I can't give them to you yet just give us a few minutes and they will be ready.
So I take that as 15-25 minutes because when they tell me give us a few minutes its normally 15-25 minutes. The other lady working on medications that were all over the place btw. Got loud and rude to. She said "She already told you it would be a couple of minutes so not till 2ish or later. (this was 11:30 am today when I went to get my meds) She was like we are working on inventory we have 8 plus tots out we have to work through and label and package up right now so no we can't give you your meds yet.
I have never seen this much issue before at a store. She even said there are 8-9 of us working on this right now the manager and district manager are here. Just DO not bother going to this location if you can help it

This location has gone downhill for years. Shorter hours, high turnover in pharmacy employees. Not the staff's fault, just corporate cost-cutting gone awry. What other nationwide corporation do you know of that has to close for a "lunch break" each day because they refuse to staff two pharmacists?

I have been a customer at this Walgreens for many years, and have had a number of pleasant experiences. However, tonight was frustrating and disappointing to me. I went to pick up my medication from the pharmacy, which closes at 7pm during the week. I recognize that I was running late to meet this closing deadline, but I pulled up to the Walgreens Pharmacy drive thru window at 6:57pm. Upon arriving, I made eye contact with three employees- two of whom were technicians who could have given me my meds quickly. These employees did not help me. Instead, they continued talking amongst themselves. I ended up calling the store at 7:01 to figure out why I had not been helped, despite another customer being helped inside the Walgreens who arrived after I did. However, I was immediately told that the pharmacy was closed and they could not help me. As someone who works in the customer service field, I recognize that the worst customers are those who scramble in 2 minutes to close, but I still help these people because it is my job. I feel incredibly disappointed and disrespected that the Walgreens pharmacy staff chose not to help me tonight by giving me my prescribed medication- a process that has only ever taken a mere 2 to 3 minutes.

The pharmacy staff is always pleasant and efficient. When I call, it is easy to speak to a live person.
