Very poor treatment here. The female clerk with the medium length dark hair was very insulting. I was the only person in the post office when I asked for help sending a package. "I can't do it for you" she said dismissively. Yeah, I know, I'm not asking for that. I just wanted to know about a few of their different options. She started talking over me and interrupting me and eventually started talking very slowly and with pronounced enunciation as if I was hard of hearing. "Press. The. Red. Button. Red. Means. Noooooo". I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Eventually I left without sending my package but with an estimate that I hadn't asked for and didn't want. I ended up going to UPS on Regent and they sent off my package quickly and without any trouble. Price was about the same, too.

The key to a package box got stuck in the lock and would not open it nor come back out. I couldn’t get my packages and they were important! The postman came, removed the key, but did not remove those packages and put them in the package room nor did he leave another key for me!!!! So I have no way to attain those packages. Come on!!!

Excellent service and helpful staff! They work very hard, but the line is usually long due to many clients. An automated postal machine would be very helpful.

The Wingra St Post office is SUCH a gift for me! As an author, I am regularly sending out books I sign - the team there greats me, knows what to do, they are efficient and fun. I go myself to the post office instead of sending staff because it's a pleasant and productive break in my demanding work day. Bravo and thank you!

They mailed my credit card to my new address after I forgot it here!I recently moved from Madison to Philadelphia. I shipped a couple boxes of clothes from this post office. They helped me package it up the right way, and then I paid for it with a credit card, but I forgot my credit card in the reader and left it in the post office and didn't realize it until I was halfway across the country. I finished my trip to Philly and moved into my new apartment, and then about a day later, I get an envelope in the mail with my credit card in it from this post office. I didn't ask for it or anything, they just knew my new address based on the boxes of clothes that I sent, and they were thoughtful enough to send my credit card there for me too!I feel like a lot of stores nowadays have a bunch of people who don't want to be there and don't care about doing a good job, but moments like these make me feel like there are still some people who actually care.

My first time returning an item to a store and the gentleman made it really easy for me since I didn't have a box to ship it in. He was able to find something for me in the back and since it was a regular box he didn’t charge me for it. :)

Great service at counter, they act like your friends, John is great! Our mail carrier is wonderful, she is friendly, knows everyone and can't be beat! Thanks to all out of the South Side post office!
