FRUSTRATING. I just moved to Madison a month ago. Had to open a checking account because 5/3 bank in not in Wisconsin. I've been to this bank four different times, and I still have no access to my money through their debit card. Now I have to wait two more days while they verify who Iam.You can't show proof at the bank. Not even your ID and lease agreement is enough. I appreciate trying to protect us from fraud, but I have never had such a hassle opening an account.

Super helpful and kind--especially during the pandemic.I called a few other banks today to switch and leave my credit union, and other places I spoke to were not giving proper information, not helpful regarding amounts to be insured, and how to get additional insurance for accounts.Melissa was super awesome to talk to--only person today at a bank who I spoke to who seemed to be knowledgeable and listen to the things I was saying regarding estate questions, working with a trust questions, etc.I thought maybe my bad experiences at other places I spoke to today were not realizing that the call they received was real--the amounts--real.Banks usually get a bad rap.Good job. You did better than my own CU.

I use this branch routinely. Their drive through and walk up are both handled well and professionally. I am usually in and out of there in minutes with my banking completed and full satisfaction.

US bank is absolutely terrible. My employer put my first pay checks on a US bank debit card and I was unable to withdraw the entirety (even though the card says otherwise, and if you exceed their (us banks made up number) value they won't run it again. Their answer was this isn't a US bank card, of course the debit card says US bank prominently on it.

US Bank has some of the worst policies I have seen in banking. They charge for every little thing that other banks their size don't. I just found out that they want $6.00 per month to print a statement. They want you to do paperless to save them money and then they jack you on the back end. They recommended that I get a credit card with them, pulled my credit, then gave me a limit of $300. Are you kidding me, so I can buy a couple tanks of gas. Then they told me I should get overdraft protection. They pulled my credit again! They then told me that I did not qualify. My credit score is 740. What a joke of a bank. I will never do business with them again!

Not too big, not too small. US Bank is just the right size and the staff at this bank and the mortgage department is particularly good.
