I worked through Samsung Care to schedule a fix for my Galaxy S21 broken screen. I had to go to this location and scheduled it for 6pm to bring in thinking it'd be a fast fix. Unfortunately, when I got there, I was informed that the repair would take 2 hours and that they're closing at 7pm so it wouldn't be done until midday the following day. I called at lunch time and they were about done. I ended up coming in later and they had it all fixed. Great company to help me with my issue. Thank you!

Only bring your phone here if you want to pay for an expensive repair, have the repair not work, have to argue the repair didn't fix the issue, get told their fix couldn't possibly have caused the new issues I am experiencing, get told you have to leave your phone there for 3-5 business days or it won't be in their "queue", and then ultimately have to purchase a new phone. All of that for a cracked screen replacement. The location I had this experience was just off Washington Avenue in Madison WI

Took my laptop into UBreakifix in Janesville on a Friday and they said they could have the battery changed by the following Wednesday, Saturday at the latest. The Sunday after arrives and they tell me that the tech put screws through my computer while attaching the battery. I tell them to keep it while I am on vacation. I come back 2 weeks later and they don't have it done. They then call me a couple of hours later to tell me it is done. I go to get it and the keyboard and mouse pad don't work. They assure me a "keyboard specialist" will look at it-in a couple of days when they are at that location. All told they had my computer for almost a month, had me travel in multiple times only to find out it wasn't fixed, and STILL charged me over $100. I wouldn't let them change batteries on my flashlight let alone work on any of my electronics. Ever. Go some place, any place, else.

Frankly, extremely disappointed. When given a specific quote, and/or time, I believe that this company should adhere to do what they commit to.Was told a repair would take no more than six hours… I.e. between four and six hours and now I’m being told that it’s not gonna be ready until almost close, which will be nine hours which is frankly unacceptable.I spoke with a representative by the name of Matthew - not only did he not seem to really care that there was a specific timeframe commitment, but also had a very short demeanor that was not at all customer service orientated.I had to call three times in order to finally get an answer. The first time I was placed on hold and then the line dropped then the second time they actually ended the call the third time they picked up and that’s when I had this interaction with this rep by the name of Matthew .

Was not impressed with the level of customer service. The promise is quick easy service and I had made an appointment, but the first thing I was told was it would take 3-5 days for a warrantee screen protector repair. After some frank discussions they committed to a repair by the end of the business day.

The person who ran this place was really involved in what people brought in to have fixed, which really impressed me. I was only there to have a lot of old phones recycled and he was happy to oblige. That made me happy??

Cyrus really went above and beyond on my repair, ensuring that the device was not only repaired as the claim requested but also cleaned my speakers for me. He answered any questions I had about the process patiently and was very personable.

I LOVE ubreakifix! I tend to be quite rough on my phones, and they've always had my back! I frequent the one off east Washington, it's always been a great experience. I really can't say enough great things about that place. All the employees are super helpful and kind as well.If you've got something wrong with a device, don't hesitate! Bring it in to them!Affordable prices too

Lost all my photos and videos from recent family trip I just returned from. Was not advised that replacement of motherboard would result in lost of data nor to backup phone beforehand. Never had an issue with these folks until today. Not tech savvy or know much about phones but you'd think those who do would be more helpful.

I have taken several phones here to have screens fixed and have asked if its worth it to have a phone fixed. They have always come through. Some times same day. I have been very happy with their ability to fix our phones. (Android/Google/Pixel)

Laptop hinge broke and was told they'd need to replace the entire back panel. Started great- was told about a week to confirm what parts were needed, got an update in a few days. Was told about a week for parts to arrive & then maybe another week for repairs. Called a little over 2 weeks for update. Was told they hadn't even opened box & they would contact me next day with update. I called 2 days later & was told wrong part was ordered, but corrected order was on its way. I had to call weekly for an update as they could never give me a straight answer on part status nor even a rough ETA. In total 5 weeks went by when I was finally told they couldn't get the right part. The last 3 weeks were frustrating as I felt I was getting the run around.

Went in for a warranty repair on a Google phone, back replacement, something that shouldn't take more than an hour to replace. Initial interaction was fine. Came in on Tuesday around 1PM, I was quoted that the repair would be completed by tomorrow morning as the part was in stock and on hand, no problem. Wednesday afternoon rolled around and I called to check on the repair and it hadn't been started yet. Told them that was fine but I do need the device for work, so I would just need communication on when it would be finished. I was then told it would be done by the following morning. Call the following morning and repair was still not complete. The circle continued and I was told the following morning again. This morning I finally got confirmation that I was finished and came into the store to pick it up. When walking in the store I was told someone would be with me shortly, hearing three people on the back of the store which very possibly could have been working I waited. It ended up being, no exaggeration, 10 minutes before somebody came to the front just to check on me and give me the phone.I come from an industry that was drastically impacted by covid and delays so I am use to it. Outside of that, I understand delays but that the lack of communication and what unfortunately feels like neglect to the clientele coming through the door is unfortunate thing to see. Nothing is more important than the customer right in front of you in regards to someone coming through your door.Nonetheless, the repair was completed and everything is in working order.

TL;DR Ultimately I am happy with the repair but they took forever and I had to follow up with them way too much.Full version: I dropped my phone on 6/24 and shattered the back, effectively breaking the camera. I went into uBreakiFix on 6/25. I was ok with the $80 quote and gave the go ahead to order parts. They told me it would be 5-7 days and that they would call me when the part got in. After not hearing anything, I called 7/3 (8 days later) and they confirmed the part was in. However, he said they were busy and probably wouldn't have time to get to it that day and recommended coming in another day. I went back on 7/6 right at 10 am when they opened. The guy took my phone and said it would be 3-4 hours and that they would call me when it was done. I asked how calling would work since they have my phone and he sheepishly took down my email. I tried calling them at 3 (5 hours after dropping off) but waited on hold for 5 minutes before giving up. I tried calling again at 4 and waited on hold for 10 minutes this time before giving up. I finally went in at 5 (7 hours after dropping off) and they hadn't even started on it. He said it would only be another 45 minutes but unfortunately I had dinner reservations and did not want to leave my phone there overnight so I took it home. I went back again at 10 am on 7/7. Again I was quoted 3-4 hours. This time I decided to come back at 1 (right at the 3 hour mark) and camp out in shop until it was done. Thankfully when I got there they were actually almost done and I had my phone back by 1:30. I understand that they were busy but it was very frustrating having my phone held hostage for so long when they weren't even close to working on it. I would have much rather been able to schedule a time to drop it off and know it would be ready in an hour or 2.
