Out of this world service. I'll never go anywhere else. They have anything you need and if not, they'll find it. Always friendly, so helpful. You literally feel like family. Small businesses like this are something you don't much find anymore.

I have been buying from Quality Hardware since 1965. The friendly employees/owners are extremely knowledgeable and, if they don’t have it, they will do their best to find what you need.

Went in needing some resizing of holes for a broken chair. Not only were they resized, chair was fully assembled by staff (this chair was the bane of my existence lol). Hardworking, friendly, affordable, and it seems like everybody there loves what they do. Excellent welcome feeling being new to the neighborhood.

Just moved in few blocks away from this killer little, but BIG on options to tackle anything you want to accomplish at home!! Can't not mention that I always try to utilize the local choices over the corporate ones. And the gentleman that popped up when I walked in with a positive, attentive, and very knowledgeable personality/attitude walked me through all of my options to handle my plumbing problem!!! Screw Home Depot, Lowes, True Value, and Menards!!! I know where I'm going for here on out, for any hardware, plumbing, or whatever else I need something to tackle, AND support my local hardware store!!!The ONLY thing that was not exactly great was figuring out where I could safely & smartly park my vehicle after I arrived today.Thanks guys!!!Sincerely,D. I always enjoy going to Quality Hardware. Not only can I walk around the whole place in 1minute, the staff always knows when I need help, and their happy attitude makes you want to talk to them. They might be small, but they always have what I need.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful of a customer service experience I have found at this store. “Family owned” seems to be thrown around a lot but this is literally a single family running this place and they could not be more welcoming. Their prices are at or under any of the chain places but their personal touch is at such a level I felt compelled to write this review. I have already been encouraging everyone I know to give this place their business and if you’re scrolling past this review I highly recommend you come through too! Skylar and Shane have been incredibly helpful to me three days in a row at closing time with various home project disasters I found myself managing. This family’s knowledge and approachability is special and I’m grateful to have randomly wandered in here; now, I have a go-to source for help and friendly advice.

I needed to find a micro star kit or bit and he helped me find exactly what I needed at the lowest cost possible. Really great customer service and knowledge. I just wish they were closer to my home because I plan on making the trip back time after time.

I love having this place in my neighborhood! the employees are always so helpful and they somehow have almost anything I’ve ever wanted in stock. when they didn’t, they ordered it in for me! highly recommend coming here rather than a big chain.

Every time someone comes to visit me in Madison I point out this place when we drive by. It is absolutely unreasonable how much I like this hardware store. First of all, they always have what I’m looking for, even when I was looking for some obscure circular light bulb. Most importantly, they’re very helpful and very kind. I’ve gone in with a handful of parts to something and asked for tips on how to jerry-rig it together, and every time the person I was talking to seemed genuinely excited to help me figure it out. Also sometimes their dog is there and that’s just the best.

Kinda wish I knew about this place's policy on refunds on tools BEFORE taking a recommendation from a staff member there.Was looking for a hand saw to cut down some pallet wood to make DIY shelving and although it was cheap, it worked cheap too. Too flimsy of a blade that kept bending each and every way that I couldn't make a straight cut anymore and ended up hitting a roadblock on my project after an hour of fiddling with it trying to find the right way to cut with the thing. When I was looking for the receipt so I could just go in and swap for a better one, I saw at the bottom no refunds for tools.Now I just have a hand saw that'll either just sit and gather dust or I eventually toss out cuz of how unusable it is.
