One of the most active Haunting I have ever witnessed here in Madison.
I do not like being on the top floor, the building talks to me. You would think maybe its just someone in one of the bathrooms talking through the huge vents everywhere... but I ain't ever heard that language before, and let me tell you... I have heard a few.
One lives in the projector room. There are pictures on the walls of the hallway on the first floor. You can see him.
You got orbs, you got shadows, you got full body apparitions later at night when no one is around, and they like to touch me here.
I swear, they know I can see and hear them, and they like messing with me.
They seem non-malevolent so I am not too concerned.
Cool building though.

I was just at the Sarah Silverman show on 11/1. I started feeling light headed and dizzy. One of the girls working the show was super kind and observant. came up to me right away to check on me to see if I was okay, was kind enough to bring me a bottle of water.
HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THIS CARING PERSON!

I saw Loossemble last night at this theater. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the staff allowed the people in the back to move towards the front before the concert started. The VIP experience was really fun and ran smoothly. Parking was easy since there is a parking garage super close by. I really recommend this theater!

The Orpheum Theater is so beautiful. We recently went to a concert there. The seating was very comfortable and wide enough for a larger person. There didn't appear to be a bad seat in the house. It was an intimate concert. It's full of a lot of history. The only downfall is that the bathrooms are upstairs or downstairs. There's no bathroom on the first floor. No elevator either. Not handicap accessible. Still very nice! I'm so glad we were able to go to this historic theater.

Staff was a bit in your face, but I guess that's what they're there for. Went to see Noel Miller, he slayed. The theater is gorgeous, it's so cool. It's easy to find, and the capital is beautiful to look at from here

We were so excited to see Josh Gates last night. We ordered more expensive tickets in the balcony, and arrived an hour before the show, parked which took a while (which was fine). At 750pm (the show started at 8pm) there were at least 200 people still in line. We left. We would have missed a good part of the show. $225 down the drain. :( This was the first big event my daughter/I have gone to since Covid.

the show was 5 stars, however seating was left to be desired. being in a seat between to large people ( one person was partially sitting on my chair the other was broad shouldered, and i am not blaming them for their size.) the folding chairs set up were set up right next to eachother and having to sit in an awkward position for two hours due to the spacing of the chairs, is not only very uncomfortable and painful but is entirely unacceptable for the cost and time put forth to go to this venue. would I recommend this venue again only if your the size of a child. There was however plenty of leg room.

Went to see Josh Gates this evening. Slow to get everyone in and show started about 20 min late, I know, it does happen. Josh was great but seats were cramped, pretty much sitting pressed up against people next to you. I'm a bigger person and found it difficult to get comfortable. This morning, my wife was telling me that the woman next to her was partially sitting on her chair. THEY REALLY NEED TO SPREAD THE CHAIRS OUT A BIT SO PEOPLE CAN BE COMFORTABLE.

Let me start by saying that the show we were there for was awesome and deserves 5+ stars. I am here to rate the theater experience though and that was barely 2 stars. The event staff at the entrance was horrible and rude. It is bad enough we have to go through metal detectors in a theater. Don't make it an airport experience by being so rude.
The bag checker tried to give purse to another lady 3 times even though she told him it's not hers, I told him it's mine. He did neither listen nor care. I understand it was a busy night with two shows back to back and not enough time to clear and fill the venue again (who thought that would work, I'd like to meet you!), but please take that up with your employer, not the audience.

Arrived for a Godsmack concert to not receive everything we paid for with our VIP package. No signage to show where to go either and almost received nothing for VIP at all.

Really need a floor for standing. Event security were a pain. We are done with Orpheum. My wife was told to sit four times.
