Super frustrating when a store has holiday hours posted on line saying that they are open until midnight, and you make the drive to the store and there’s yet another sign on the door stating their holiday hours and that they were open until midnight tonight (among many other nights) and it’s all locked up at 11:15. Why say you’re open if you’re not?

Only self-checkouts open for a few hours at the end of the evening. Brought to attention of management and multiple staff in past about how this is problematic and nothing has changed. The store has also added a lot of high-end merchandise including makeup and home appliances with no one available to demo it or ask questions, but it’s the same premium price as at a high-end store. Someof the basic canned fruits are priced higher than the local premium grocery store, and yet there is less human help. Cannot get vaccines at pharmacy here either as not contracted with a major insurance carrier.12/15/23 Update:All of the Scandanavian-themed holiday decor is sold out. (Chip Gaines Hearth and Hand) Most of it was not a decent quality for the price. The potholders and dish towels were nice but the patterns too plain - striped and plaid. Some of it sold out pretty early, and two weeks before Christmas which is when many shop, sold out. There were multiple Hispanic songs playing in the store. The beat was so fast the words were unintelligible. But then there is no Hispanic holiday merchandise. No real selection of adult holiday gift items. Continue to not be able to find quality ladies garments here or appropriate office products for a fair price. Could not find holiday mailers in the mailer aisle. Wall hook racks for hanging coats very plain and generic. Most of the home decor, dishes, and home storage very plain and generic, and overpriced. Literally the only items I could find were in the pharmacy section. The of oral care products was poor. Oddball specialty toothpastes, and not the standard kinds. Very limited selection of dental floss and gum treatment items. If allergic to one brand, there is not an alternate choice. Also included some ingredients that are hard to determine what is actually in the product. On the upside… if you’re looking for a selection of basketballs, there are about 30 choices - many specialty colors and sizes. Only one human-run cashier station open. The rest self-checkout. Will be monitored by video which makes me feel like being treated like a thief.

Love that this Target is clean, well stocked and organized. Have some great employees that smile and greet you, offer assistance. Makes the upcoming holiday shopping more fun.

A perfectly adequate target, which means its a step above most similar stores. Nice staff, quick to resolve issues, and while their stock levels are frequently low, the staff are happy to order something you can't find or tell you which nearby store has it in stock.

This store is going downhill and fast. I understand the need to send people with more items through the checkout lines but then they are not staffed. Stores are more focused on the curbside pickup for the privileged and could care less about those who come to the actual store. I think it's time like so many others have said to ditch Target.

This particular target is a gamble. Sometimes, they are stocked. Some times they aren't. Sometimes, the cashiers are polite. Sometimes, they aren't. If you have the time to visit multiple stores in case they don't have the item in stock, then no problem. No one wipes off the carts, so if it's raining, bring your own wipes or towels because the carts will be wet.

They don't seem to have fully recovered from there remodeling last year. Store seems unorganized... clothes were all over floor, random stocking bins left around the store. The TJ Maxx went to recently seemed more orderly than the west side Target.

I want to love this store because it's convenient for me but can't and everytime find myself driving to Hilldale to shop! Your selves are always empty yet you have tons of staff stocking selves?! I don't understand why when the website says it's available and I come in it isn't?

I have always found the staff at Madison West Target to be extremely kind and helpful. The store is well-organized and I love the variety of quality products at a great price.

Went to get some storage drawer bins could only get one in the cart couldn’t even get one under the cart. Nobody bothered to help me with these plastic bins. I tried to brace one on top of the other and they just kept falling on the floor. I asked the cashier people if they had a certain cart that I could use. The guy said all they had was a dolly didn’t really bother to help the lady work there didn’t bother to help me either. so I paid for them through the self check area and struggle to get them out to my vehicle but nobody bothering to stop and help that worked there. Then a young girl, coming out behind me who worked there she was off the clock, and offered to help me by carrying one of the big bins to my vehicle. Very disappointed in target and I do all my shopping there. Maybe I’ll just have to start shopping online or something very disappointed!!!!very disappointed and I am an old lady.

Been shopping here for 23 years and after problems the last 6 visits now I'm done. I live an hour away, keep missing items from my pickup orders. Today, double checked by asking them to make sure they had it all...nope! We drove away missing four CASES of various flavored waters and beverages. How do u miss that?!? Called from Sauk to see if they did have my items or not? Got hung up on. FOUR calls over the next hour plus one more after 7pm. Immediate click. 20-25 rings, click, click, click. Nobody EVER answered. Not customer service/drive-up, Not food and beverage. Last time I waited 40 minutes in returns for someone to finally tell me they've been "short staffed since the holidays" which was SEVEN MONTHS AGO. This is NOT ok!

I was so excited to get my target card so I could help out my daughter, got to the checkout and they would not let me use my temporary card, we needed the groceries. Had to call the 800 number and even after they verified me, would not let me use it. I am very disturbed by this. Not knowing if we will shop there again!
