Had an overall great experience at Talbot Gallery 2118. My daughter and I were looking for some art when we stumbled upon Terry and his gallery. Left with six different pieces and couldn't be happier with the experience.

Had the pleasure to meet the artist himself! Terry truly loves the city, and it reflects in his photographery. When stopping in, I recommend chatting with him to listen to his passion and excitement. There is years of Madison photographery in his gallery, making it extra special.

Unique among the many galleries in Madison. A must see for anyone interested in art and the history of art and music in Madison. Terry has a wealth of knowledge about music as a professional photographer of many years. Ask him to show you the “rider” for the Grateful Dead’s performance here years ago.

I lived in Madison for years. His photographs of Madison bring me back to that great city. The colors and layout Talbot achieves make his photographs mesmerizing. His photos of people seem to immortalize them and put them in another dimension. I don't know how he does it. I have known Terry Talbot for many years, and consider him a great genius of photography.I had the pleasure of visiting his studio recently during artists open house night in Madison. He shows lithographs and paintings by a number of other artists whose artworks and posters are offbeat and highly creative. Staring at them puts me in something like an altered state of mind.For collectors, I often think that In years to come, I think that many of the items from this studio are highly collectible.
