Waiting for over 5 hours but people that checked in after have already been seen and released. They did X-rays within 1.5 hours but nothing else since. It’s freezing in the waiting room so make sure to wear a sweatshirt.

If could give no stars I would. I been coming to St. Mary’s for 20 year's And in the last 7 year they been getting worse. This past year has been hell. Back in 8/2023 I waited in the ER for 5 hours I got a CT done and after and hour the nurse told me I could leave before she took my IV out the doctor rushed into my room and said I wasn’t leaving bc I needed emergency surgery my gallbladder was about to burst. I turned to the nurse and told her so you was just going to send me home? Now I’m writing this review while I been waiting since 4:40pm and it’s now 10:58pm I haven’t even been pulled to the back yet. I have lots of pain since I have kidney issues I had surgery for this in 2015 and now my kidney is flaring up again and I’m crunched up in a chair with pain and I still have not been seen.
There needs to be a better system this called an ER EMERGENCY ROOM

Lunch was brought to my mother and it sat on the counter outside her room for over an hour. If I would have known it was hers I would have gotten it for her myself! Nursing staff seemed unorganized and misinformed.

Dr Larson is such a great caring Dr who cares about his patients health. Very pleasant and explained everything to me so I understood my condition. I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends

My stay at St Mary’s Hospital in Madison was very pleasant. The nurses helped when needed and encouraged me on my walks around the hallway. Also., my surgeon and the PA stopped by to make sure I was doing ok.

Great experience. Surgery team was top notch.The nurse I had from after surgery was on top of everything, she kept me comfortable and was very kind.

I was pleased with most of the staff. But it was a young lady who had a problem with me. She wanted me to get upset. No need to worry UW hospital has a great pyschiatrist and plenty of staff to appreciate me. Thanks St. Mary for your grace

I had 2 stents put in and the doctors did amazing. The nursing staff is a 10 out of 10. Excellent care all around!
