I’ve taken a medication for around 10 years on and off. Never had this much trouble filling it. It’s one person, a pharmacist, who has made almost every fill stressful. The pharmacy techs, one in general I think his name is Matt, is super helpful and kind. The pharmacist Brock is one of the rudest people I have encountered. He actually hung up on me when I was trying to verify when my prescription was ready after what I believe was his error. Im not sure why but the dates on the DMPT that my prescribing doctor saw were different than what they actually were, at least twice. Different as in two weeks not a few days! If I didn’t call the pharmacy and stand my ground that they were incorrect I would have been out medication I take daily for two weeks both times. Both times Brock was involved. Somehow the system changed to corrected after I called and spoke to Brock to see why my doctor saw wrong dates in dmpt. Prescribing doctor was then able to prescribe the medication. How is it that Brock keeps getting dates wrong that don’t allow me to pick up my medication? But once I prove it to him and stand my ground it gets corrected. No apologies from Brock or I’m sorry it was entered wrong or any explanation. One time he just hung up after I tried to understand.Think of a little old lady, anyone who submits to authority or has white coat syndrome (I totally have had both those myself in past) who this might happen to. Are they bold enough to stand there ground and prove the dates are incorrect?I have serious concerns about this pharmacy. If your prescribed a controlled substance like adderall and use this pharmacy…Save your receipts and video record when you pick up. This place is shady.I went there for half a year. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I’m done there. Typing this up to hopefully save someone else the hassle and stress of going there. Don’t go there!

Would give negative stars if I could. Besides often not having things ready after I call in days ahead or losing refills the last straw was being outright lied to today by the pharmacist. I haven’t had a problem with my sons prescription until he arrived. Years of no problems not mixing it because of shelf life to length of prescription every month once mixed. Two months ago he mixes it and another pharmacist gave me new unmixed. Last month was fine too as different pharmacist. Today he says nope against the law. Well guess what I spoke with other pharmacists and it’s just being picky and playing games with my sons much needed meds handled a specific way and having gotten them correctly for years until you came along. No laws just you and your lies. We have left. My kids are much safer and respected at another pharmacy. Can’t wait until my insurance changes and I’m able to leave next year too.

I have used this pharmacy for over 20 years with few problems. Very occasionally a prescription is not ready when expected but they have always gotten it ready fast when I showed up. They have been proactive when my insurance required a change to generics. My family has had hundreds of prescriptions filled here, and there has never been a mistake. Epi pens have always been fresh ones, not the old pens that are weeks away from expiring like we have gotten elsewhere.

This review is for the pharmacy located @1821 S. Stoughton RoadMadison, WI 53716.I wish I didn’t need to leave such a bad review, but my issues with this pharmacy has been happening for years. My last straw was placing the blame on me. I went to pick up a prescription and they didn’t have it ready [I had requested the prescription four days before my pickup date]. They didn’t have it ready, because there is prescription shortages. I didn’t know that there is prescription shortages, no one bothered to tell me. When I asked why no one communicated that to me, they said that they have too many customers to do that. What?? Who says that? Who in their right mind expects customers to know what’s going on in the prescription drug industry world? Maybe my expectations of a pharmacy are not realistic? My husband goes to Walgreens. And, Walgreens sends requests for prescription refills for him, sends him notifications if there’s any problems with his prescriptions, and tells him 3 months in advance to meet with your doctor because you have only 3 refills left. So, my lesson here is, don’t set your expectations for this pharmacy to treat you like a customer. Treat this pharmacy as if you are living during the Great Depression, waiting in line for food rations, maybe you’ll get lucky and they will throw you a bone. If you set your expectations at this level, you’ll probably love this place. So, back to their problem of having too many customers, you lost one! Yay! I hope folks will see this review and won’t add to the problems of having too many customers and not being able to communicate with the patients. Save yourself frustrations, time and stress. DO NOT GO HERE! I want to also add, it’s not beyond my comprehension to understand this is a staffing shortage/management and corporate issue. I believe the Pharmacist are doing the best they can. But, I no longer want to be part of this problem.

Pharmacy staff is very easy to work with. Had some billing issues on the phone but they were easily resolved.

The location of this Pharmacy is great however the staff is always incompetent and mostly rude. One old woman specifically Jody is always a pain to deal with because she is crabby and must not get out much. I have had much better luck going to Walgreens and dealing with professionals than this place!

I live right across the street so when I need an Rx I don't have far to go for professional full service pharmacy!

ALWAYS have to wait, even if it’s called in ahead of time. It’s never ready-to-go for a quick pick-up.

The pharmacy off Stoughton Rd. is probably the worst pharmacy I've had to deal with - with winter here, my family and I have had to go to the clinic a few times for ear infections, pneumonia and some other colds. The pharmacy is completely incompetent. Losing slips, waiting 90 mins for simple antibiotics, mailing a prescription to another pharmacy instead of my house as requested, tried to give me someone else's prescription because they mis-labeled things - and this is all within the last 4 weeks or so. You'll wait for hours and they'll probably still get it wrong. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Can not be trusted with your health. These are just a coupe of things that happened in the year I was using the pharmacy. They just logged and did not fill prescription. Gave me half the amount of pills listed on bottle. When I went to pick up script I was told it was sent in the mail and it was not. Delayed starting of medication because they did not have medication. Said they would mail it out to me then did not and at sat at pharmacy. These are just some of the problems and they were all done more then one time.
