We love Square and all of the people who work there. They’re always so kind and helpful in answering questions and choosing the right wine for the occasion. Square has been our go-to wine shop since 2018/19. Their new(er) shop is beautiful and set up well for perusing the bottles or having a glass of wine with friends. I love their wine club also. Andrea curates them thoughtfully, including bottles that are tried and true while peppering in fun finds as well.

The best place for tailored wine recommendations! I always walk in and ask them to help me choose a wine to pair with the dinner I’m planning to make and they ALWAYS have the best recommendations! Pricing is always clear too which is great!

We live in Virginia Wine Country and travel for wine all the time. Wasn't expecting anything along those lines for Madison. Was thinking more beer with cheese. But here we were mere steps from the Capitol building in an oasis for wine. Square Wine is an amazing stop for wine lovers to have great wine at the bar or buy retail and hang out with fellow wine loving customers and staff. Rarely do you get high quality experience combined with a non pretentious atmosphere, but the Square Wine team has it nailed. We will be back for sure the next time we are in town.

I love popping in to Square Wine Co on COTS nights. They always have a great selection of wine (no cork screw needed!) chilled and ready to go! They even had glasses for us to grab too! Thanks!

Square Wine is my favorite wine shop of all time. Andrea is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and an absolute delight to speak with. I have never purchased a bottle of wine that I didn't like. Frequently I will walk in and tell her vaguely what I am looking for and my price range and every time I walk out with something special. I can't recommend Square Wine enough. Also, join their wine club!

We were in Madison for one night and popped in for a glass. Andrea was awesome! Set us up with a flight of delicious wines and was a super helpful host. Highly recommend!

Participated in my first wine tasting event, EVER at Square Wine Company last week. Amazing atmosphere, selection, and education. And there were maps! I would 10/10 recommend for a glass of wine at the bar, buying a bottle, or participating in a tasting!
