Great doctors and we have seen them all with our dogs. They always treat our pooches with the best care and our dogs feel comfortable with them. I always feel like my questions are answered. We are a Schnauzer and Schnoodle Family My dogs are happy which makes Mama happy.

Very friendly and were the ONLY clinic that took us as a patient. We were visiting from Canada and none of the vets were willing to see our dog, even though we mentioned he is fully vaccinated and protected. Sondel team wad very warm and welcoming. Thank you so much... you guys go above and beyond... keep up

I've only been going here for a couple months, but my goodness what a difference from my previous vet! The veterinarians and techs here are very knowledgable and knew exactly what to do right away. They also give me advice quite often which I appreciate a lot! Their prices are very reasonable, I'd honestly pay more for what they provide. Highly recommend!

I have been really happy with Dr Sondel and the staff here. He does not waste our time. We have never had a long wait for our appointment. All of his advice has been great. I will stay with them for all of my veterinary needs.

I would highly not recommend. They charged $50 for trimming nails and putting on nail caps full set, not a big deal but they told me I would not be charged for the back nails since they forgot to do it last time. Once I arrived, they decided I needed to pay full price anyway because they reasoned that it had been a while since I came in to get it done, so they reneged on what they originally told me. They also told me I could bring him into the West Clinic but once I got there, again it was different story and I had to reschedule due to the power outage they had. Like I said, this was not a big deal but they should have called me before I took the time and trouble to get down there. In general from my experience and from reading other people's negative reviews, I think this practice does tend to care more about money and less about addressing your concerns. They really lack clarity and communication which then leads to frustration and blame on you the client. They are always right and you are always wrong no matter what. If you get even a little upset about it, they will write an "incident report" about you in your pets medical records and use accusatory language against you and fabricate things like "pet parent was "Extremly upset" about being charged for nail caps etc. I was never "extremly upset" but I did express frustration and apparently that is a big no no here because you are not even allowed to disagree with them. Once I closed my account and got my cats records, I was surprised to learn there were several pages of accusatory and derogatory notes about me in my cats records. I also felt the front office staff was not very courteous and I felt some disparity as a client and now I know why this stuff was in his medical chart. My poor cat didn't deserve this. Additionally my already overweight cat has gained an additional 2lb in 6mo based on their feeding recommendations. I don't think people have a problem paying for things as long as there is good communication about it upfront, which there isn't and try to work with clints to resolve issues instead of invalidating them all the time, blaming and writing over the top stuff in pets records. I tried to talk to the office manager and even Dr. Sondel to work through my frustrations but there seems to be a lack of willingness to negotiated or empathize and I was accused of harassing them by trying to resolve my concerns. I was told by the office manager that she would not continue the conversation and she hung up. Never again! Stay away!

Brought my cat here a few times after I moved to west Madison. Vet did not seem particularly engaged or attentive to the animal - asked for visit notes and found that provider referred to my cat as "she" throughout the note when he is a male cat.

We made the switch to Dr. Sondel and his beautiful team six years ago when our breeder highly recommended him because he understands the breed we purchased! And he’s fairly priced which is a HUGE factor to providing quality care for our family members of furry nature! We had to put our sweet girl to sleep and I honestly felt like we were at Gunderson funeral home the staff knew who we were and why we were visiting them with concern and empathy they NEVER rushed us they allowed us to spend time with our girl saying our goodbyes they gave us Kleenex’s I have NEVER had such a beautiful experience on such a horrible day!
Thanks Dr Sondel and staff

One of the best veterinary clinics I have ever had the opportunity to have. They took amazing care of our dogs and even helped us see one through his passing. These people are amazing and the owners are very responsive. Hercules is a happy 12.5 year old customer! Thank you Sondel!
