We have been going to Sauk Point for more than 10 years and have brought a variety of pets! We are so grateful for the outstanding care we have received over the years. The doctors and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. I always feel that they are taking time to listen to my concerns and provide thorough and careful exams on our beloved pets. I highly recommend this vet office if you want the absolute best care for your animals!

They are always there if you have concerns or questions about your pets. They truly care for them as if they were their own. My three dogs love their Doctor.

This place is a godsend to us. Especially Dr Jamie, who is empathetic and caring and greatly assisted us through a very difficult time with our beloved Golden. They are responsive, professional, make time for you and your pet and they actually care about your pet's health.

Canceled urgent visit less than 24 hours before appointment then said they were a month out. Cat is in pain and they obviously don't care about animals. Absolute disgrace. Go somewhere else.

Always a wonderful experience, and stress is minimized as much as possible for my anxious cats and their anxious mom. Dr. Collins and the whole team are outstanding, and they even installed a recessed cat bed especially for my cat - see photo!

We have been going to Sauk Point since moving to Madison in 2021 and could not be happier with their service! We sought out Sauk Point based on a friend's recommendation and feel very grateful to have had that, especially because we were nervous about establishing new care after the move. We have been continuously impressed with Sauk Point's quality of care and knowledge, as well as their commitment to establishing a great experience for our pet and future pets. Our dog, in particular, has really transitioned to feeling more comfortable at the vet thanks to the team's outstanding care. In addition, I have felt comforted and supported with any and all questions or concerns we might have about our dog. We have worked with multiple different vets and vet techs/aids for various appointments and everyone's kindness, passion, knowledge, and professionalism have always been on full display. I know if I call, I will always receive the best care and support. Thank you Sauk Point for providing such outstanding care to our pup and future kitties!

I read the 1 star review by Terah Shober-Graves. It is my hope that she and other pet owners, will go to the link above and understand what it's like to be a Vet. It is a unique specialty in medicine.
Dr. Pamela has been our family Vet for over 25 years, caring for all our dogs and cats. She understands the stress we feel when our pets are ill, in pain, or otherwise upset. I'm so grateful to Dr. Pamela and the staff at Sauk Point Vet Clinic, for their knowledge, training, experience, passion, and yes for their kindness. The times when I do need to wait, I enjoy the photos and the peace of mind that my dog or cat will get the best care possible as soon as possible.

Not a low stress visit, as advertised the business provides.
Waited 40 minutes with a 77-pound sick and very anxious dog being told twice ‘Dr.Pam will be right with you’. I was the only patient in an exam room. I figured either they forgot I was there or didn’t care enough to be professional and considerate of anyone else’s time OR the stress on the animal waiting, so I left without being seen. How is that providing a low stress visit for anyone but the staff?
I’ve been a nurse for 20 years in various settings and I would never dare ignore and not update a patient on time delays in the same fashion my sick dog and I were ignored today. Very unprofessional and inexcusable. I will not be back!

I'm new to the area and came from out of state. I called and said I wanted to establish a new vet since I'm going to be here for at least a few years. I was also looking to get some answers to some questions I had in regards to sedatives since I drive over 8 hours to get back home and my poor cat is always freaking out the entire time no matter how comfortable I make him. Well, I was put on hold for less than 5 seconds and then they told me to call someone else and basically just hung up... they gave no real reason even after I asked why, they said they don't give advice out to none clients, but I told them again I'm new and wanted to establish care. It's like they listened to nothing I said and just didn't care. Just don't go here I guess?

My dog has been a patient at Sauk Point since July and I have always felt that the staff, the doctors, and techs have gone above and beyond for her. Recently, my dog was attacked by another dog early in the morning. The ER vets had wait times of over 4 hours, and we could not wait. Thanks to Dr Collins and Dr Laura, they were able to see my dog the same day for emergency surgery and care. They are so caring and have my dog’s best interests at heart. Sauk Point is Madison’s best vet for this very reason. Without their help, my dog’s recovery would not be going as well as it is! I truly cannot thank Sauk Point enough for their dedication to my dog!

The staff at Sauk Point Veterinary Clinic are very knowledgeable and friendly. All of the Veterinarians do a great job at explaining all of the options for care and I never feel pressured to choose one option over another. They lay out all of the pros and cons and are happy to offer suggestions but ultimately let me decide, guilt free, what I feel is best for my pet and our situation. I can not even begin to express how wonderfully this clinic has treated myself and my animals. Dr Collins is also one of the most meticulous veterinary surgeons I've met. The veterinary technicians are equally meticulous about monitoring anesthesia. I recommend them highly with all confidence!!

I am so impressed with Sauk Point Veterinary Clinic, I'd give it a 10 if that was an option in Google. Dr. Collins has been our vet for over 20 years. She is now further away but it is well worth the drive. All my animals love her which is very important to me! She is a very caring, patient person which is a must when dealing with pets and their sometimes scared owners. She not only cares for my pets, but she cares for me as well. I've recommended her to several people who now refuse to see any other vet.
