I lived in Latvia during grad school and often crave Eastern European food. Was so pleased to find this store. Friendly and great selection.

I love drinking kvass and this is the only place locally that carries it. They have a great selection of European foods, I usually pick up a few snack items while I'm there.

Friendly owners. The only place in Madison to obtain Russian-like food. The place to get your pelmeni.

The blond lady was very rude, tried to argue, because I paid with snap card and should’ve let her know in advance, then she threw the card to me, it almost fell on the floor. There are very few Russian products, very limited. Extremely expensive, for 4 items $25 charged. Every visit is more disappointing. This visit was the last.

The store is not big, but the selection of goods is quite decent. One note - on weekends, an elderly woman works in the store, who is not polite to customers, does not help to find the necessary product. And she doesn't speak English, which scares off English-speaking buyers.

This place is phenomenal. As a Ukrainian that grew up in New York, I really miss the availability of certain foods and this place has most of what I need. I go every weekend now.

It's the only Russian store in Madison and it's great for what they have. I usually pick up pelmeni and sausages here, sometimes sweets and tea. I hope someday they can expand to have a deli and some fresh Russian dishes too. Spasibo!

Small, easily missed, but a cute little market crowded with imports not just from Russia but all over Europe as well. It was the only place in the area I have found that carries buckwheat. Check out their freezer case for a selection of great dumplings, pelmeni, and meats! Also if you have never tried a Mozart chocolate you are in for a treat.

My favorite Sauerkraut! Highly recommending especially if you are planning to cook German Schtrudeli!
