I had visited Rubin’s a dozen times over the years and had always wanted a really nice sofa. When the time was finally right, we visited the new showroom and ran into JJ. After narrowing our selection down to 2 sofas, JJ visited our home to lend his design expertise and draw up how each sofa would fit into our space. We settled on the Titan and some additional recommendations for our space and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was white glove and after sale communication has been great.Purchasing a piece from Rubin’s is a big deal, these are high quality pieces that are accompanied by high quality service. I’ve visited all the stores, nothing compares to Rubin’s.

Rubin's is either your cup of tea or not. The styles are generally modern, Scandinavian inspired and very interesting. We stopped at their warehouse/larger store (there is also a design center downtown) and found a large showroom full of things I'd very much like to buy. There's a clearance area off to the side that sells floor models and returns at good discounts. We were looking for some lounge-y chairs and there were options aplenty. Helping us was very knowledgeable Barb who was never intrusive and let us look around. After making the rounds, we kept coming back to one specific chair - Barb let us know they had 2 in stock from a cancelled order (most things are made to order) in our preferred color, plus they were included in their anniversary sale. SOLD!! I work on the commercial furniture side and felt that the quality here was oberall very high and the prices, for what you get, are pretty fair. It's not IKEA prices to be fair but it's also not made in China crap that will fall apart and bottom out in a few months. You'll love it if: you appreciate mid century or modern design, want a high level of quality, want to customize items. You won't like it if: you need cupholders in your furniture.

Love Rubin'sLost my house in a fire and when it came time to refurnish, went here specifically to work with Barb Buth - she got my vision, made some terrific suggestions and was upfront about everything.She even suggested the fabric for the one of a kind tiger chair pictured belowEnded up getting that chair, a really cool glass top dining table, super comfy couch, stylish recliner and barstools - plus, that fantastic a/v cabinet.Is Rubin's the cheapest place in town? Nope. But you get what you pay for - and you get high quality, great looking, well made furniture that'll last a looooong time.It's pretty cool to come home to furniture which makes me smile....

I ordered a sofa from there waited 6 months to get it and it came in wrong so their so called manager told me she would get the order right waited another 3 months and it was still wrong so i told her to just refund me since nobody can get it right there and proceeded to point the finger at the vendor and my response to her was if they are messing up orders like that why on earth are you still using them so i got most of my money back but she would not return my delivery fee after they got it wrong I had to get a higher power to get my refund in full needless to say after 30 years of shopping there i will no longer be going back since they have moved in this new location it has been a different type of vibe buyers beware if you order a big item from this store !

My wife and I recently purchased some furniture from Rubins. It was delivered two days ago. I believe if you admire someone, you should admire them to their face, which is why I'm writing now. The delivery people from White Glove delivery were amazing. I think their names were Lance and Jim. Great guys, great service. They really went above and beyond to help to get things in place. Showed up when they said they were going to show up, and did what they said they were going to do. And Dawn also went above and beyond. She had a great creative sense for designing the pieces for us. Her suggestions were spot on, and her extra service, (coming to our house, following up etc) were amazing . Rare these days. So, I just wanted to tell you how happy we are with Rubins. Thank you Dawn!! Thank you Lance and Jim at White Glove Delivery, and thank you Rubins.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience at Rubin's has been so far. Upon our first visit, we were warmly greeted by Barb. She listened to us in order to understand our needs. After years of searching for "the right" table and chair set, we had basically given up, thinking that it just didn't exist. But Rubin's offers so many unique pieces of furniture and they had options for us! Barb is such a treasure--she is so knowledgeable, warm, genuine, kind, funny and patient. She even offered to make a visit to our home to help us decide on colors that would work with our existing space! Even after three trips to the showroom, she always made us feel welcome and took time to help us get all the details right. She understood that this was a big decision and investment for us, and she wanted us to get something we would be happy with and love. We never felt any sales pressure whatsoever--just guidance and encouragement . Now we must just simply wait for these custom pieces to arrive, but we are so excited for delivery day--mostly thanks to Barb and her top notch service, helping us find this special set of furniture that will be used for family meals and making memories for years to come.

Have bought a few items from Rubin's. Most items were great and a positive experience, but latest purchase was our first custom order, rather than floor stock, and it was given to us with a flaw and Rubin's has failed to remedy the situation.The manufacturer of the mirror, Glassisimo, claims eveything was done properly, which if true, their standards are really lacking. However, Glassisimo did say that if we wanted our piece done differently that is something that can be done if it is specified on the order form. Our Rubin's sales rep did not know that this needed to be specified on the order though. It is the job of the sales rep to know how things must be ordered when putting in a custom order.Rubin's has refused to give us any option besides keeping the piece as-is, or returning it for a refund. Returning it and getting a new, properly made, piece is not an option they are offering. We would need to place a new order and pay the difference, which since we originally placed the order before the big inflation spike, the price is now almost $1000 more.

Always a great experience! I have some furniture, accessories , and lamps that were purchased over various chapters of my life...Several items that I still use in my home today...Looking forward to seeing the new showcase store in Madison, and hopefully some additional purchases for myself in the future...

We knew Rubin’s Furniture was the place to go for a much-needed furniture upgrade. Danielle was amazing to work with. She listened to our ideas and came up with a beautiful plan for our home remodel. Amazing sense of design. We are very happy with our new look and feel.
