Great work out facility. It's clean, they have tons of space, and every piece of work out equipment you can think of. Best gym in Madison!

Warm and welcoming community. Very clean. Great facilities. Variety of classes. I have been a member for over 10 years and can not imagine not being part Pinnnacle.

Today was my first day after receiving a tour yesterday. I can't say enough good things about them. I arrived mid-day on Saturday, not crowded at all with no wait times for anything. Two levels - top floor with modern cardio equipment, some free weights and stretching equipment, and muscle group machines. Lower level almost all free weights and equipment alike. Adult locker rooms with rentable lockers, sauna, showers with a co-ed shared space between the male and female locker room containing an essential oil steam room and hot tub. Enclosed parking ramp behind the building that can be vouchered for with easy access to the gym. Clean environment with secured entrances and video monitoring. After my workout, purchased freshly made protein smoothie with 100% natural products. Towel service is also available. The aesthetic, the people, the equipment, the amenities are all top of the line and for the first time in my life, I found myself wanting to go to the gym for the second time in one day. I don't ever want to leave.

I am enjoying this quiet and roomy fitness center. I like both locations & have found the staff to be nice, chill and helpful. I wish they would send out some type of email to members about updates for the gym - shortened hours, cleanings, etc

Pinnacle Health & Fitness is hands-down a phenomenal gym! The owner, Mike, is extremely friendly and caring. The facilities are very clean, have plenty of machines, equipment, and space to do whatever you want. This location has made the absolute most of its space- with a fitness room, stationary bike room, designated lifting space, and cardio space. Plus, they offer delicious smoothies and protein shake. They have towels for use during your sweat sesh. This location had a sauna and a hot tub- both extremely well taken care of. The fitness instructors I have had for classes there are the absolute best, as well!! Plus, they offer a lot of classes- pretty much any Les Mills class. Also, you get access to the Fitchburg (mother) gym that is even more phenomenal than this one! If I still lived in Madison, this would be my gym- no question!

I almost hate to review, because I don't want the secret out. I only go to the Fitchburg facility. I was a member of EastY for decades, but this is so much better. The only downside for me is the commute to Fitchburg. As a swimmer, the pools were the selling point. Not huge, but they are all salt-water. Indoor 4 lane, indoor warm-water pool and outdoor 3 lane with adjacent shallow area means lots of options and a good way to direct people toward type of activity. It's not a facility that is geared toward kid memberships or programs, which is nice if you want people and facilities focused on fitness. I feel like there are a number of triathletes working out here. They do have a Masters Swim Club as well, which I might try. During COVID, they closed and cleaned every day for an hour, and I've seen that they've been maintaining the twice-daily cleaning schedule without closing (2:30pm and 8:30pm). I feel like the surfaces stay pretty clean, and there isn't excessive debris in the pool. Downside is that they aren't always the best communicators about how they are changing things up--more than once I've headed to the pool to discover the lanes are being used for a private lesson or a group class (like a Sunday night by the pool yoga). The upside to that is that they're working on finding ways to encourage fitness and interest, so kudos there.

Great place to fit in a work out for folks who work around the capital. Staff are friendly and it has enough equipment

I've liked it enough to renew for 4 years. Nice facility and friendly staff in both locations. Good selection of blended drinks. Broad spectrum of weight and cardio machines. Broken machines get fixed fairly soon. Nice clientele at both locations. One person in the next lane at Fitchburg helped me greatly improve my flutter kick. Negatives: Crappy shower area with plastic flooring at Mifflin location. Rotten egg smell in the suit dryer at Mifflin. The whirlpool at Mifflin has mostly clogged jets and one so strong it can push you off the bench. Both locations play some crappy electronic dumb-pop music most of the time.

Great location, has everything you would need from a gym right off the square. The staff that I have worked with are awesome, super accommodating and friendly. Price is reasonable and they are willing to work with you on deals if they can.

Awful gym. Resigned a membership after several months away, paid for my first months membership, then 4 days later, was charged again for the same month. When signing my contract, I had asked about my teenage son also joining, the owner made comments on how I must've been really young when I had a child. Owner tried justifying comments by stating he had children young. Went to cancel my membership based on these and other factors and was told it's not allowed even after asking about paying a cancellation fee. Manager Jacob threatened to ruin my credit. Machines are not wiped off by members, rarely is there someone at the front desk when you need help. When I spoke with the owner on changing my payment method, he asked me if it was a valid payment method. Poor treatment and verbal accosting by management/owners when you express displeasure with their services. I feel very uncomfortable going to this gym in the future given the inappropriate comments and treatment both before and after bringing up complaints.
