Misty Mountain Games is Madison's largest game store, with events every night of the week and open play space. It is described as the best and a very nice, solid, and favorite local game shop. The store sells a wide variety of board games, RPGs, miniatures, and TCGs, with a superb MTG card selection. They also offer game pieces and paint for figures. Prices are generally noted as fair and competitive. The staff are repeatedly praised as the nicest, best, super chill, friendly, and accommodating. They host a lot of events, including D&D Adventurers League. Some notes mention that buying prices for cards may not seem reasonable and that the selection of TTRPGs can feel a bit limited for some.
A great place to buy and sell magic cards. They also have a great selection of games and events to play. They have a great atmosphere, I especially like the goblin statue by the register.
