Mex Mufflers on park st is an absolute rip-off. My 65-year-old mother took her car there, describing a loud noise on the freeway and lagging acceleration when pressing on the gas. Without even test driving the car to properly diagnose the issue, they claimed the muffler was the problem due to a slightly open seal and charged her an outrageous $360 for a new one. They even showed us the muffler, which was perfectly fine—just a tiny hole and a slightly open seal that could have continued to be used without any issue. They never drove the car after the so-called "repair" to confirm it was fixed, and unsurprisingly, the issues persist. It’s clear they preyed on an older woman who trusted them, just to make a quick buck. Avoid this place at all costs—these people are untrustworthy and only care about taking your money.

Always friendly and professional. Prices are fair. Not sure if it was because we have brought all of our cars there or if they were just feeling generous, but they surprised me today by not charging to replace a broken bracket after having quoted me $20.

DISGUSTED 5/4/24 Took my car in for muffler. Received
Call that my breaks were bad. So I believed them and paid for front and rear pads,rotars and calipers. Returned 5/10 because my tire was smelling like something was burning and my tire was very hot. They replaced calipers again. Returned again on 6/15 for the same thing. They replaced 1 caliper and said they were getting bad parts and now had a different supplier. Should be good. Got home and they didn't put hub caps back on. 6/28 same thing happening. What to do? I don't really want to go back. I don't trust them anymore and hard to communicate with the workers.

I’ve recently had mex do work on my exhaust and brakes. The work was done very well and promptly. The staff is kind and professional which makes the affordable prices even better. Would highly rescind!
