I had an unpleasant experience at the store recently. I found an item on clearance that was the same as the one I had seen online for a lower price. However, the manager and GM refused to honor the online price, even though they eventually admitted that the items were the same. It was disappointing that they wasted my time and did not do the right thing by honoring their pricing. I am considering not shopping at this store again due to this experience.

Very impressed with Paul in flooring. He showed us exactly what we needed for tile and helped us pick out our bathroom tile. Very knowledgeable and pointed out things we wouldn’t have known.

I can't say much for this store's inventory or prices but this store's customer service and manager plainly lied on their ability to look up an in-store credit certificates transaction history in an attempt to avoid refunding the full value of an unopened return.
For those unaware, it is VERY possible to get a balance/purchase inquiry for a in-store credit certificate and even managers from OTHER STORES can look this information up for you.
In the end we did get our full credit back from corporate so as much as it pains me I must leave a 1 star review for the blatant lying to a frequent and loyal customer.

We had a very poor experience. We were treated in a rude and impatient manner when we asked for assistance at checkout. Customer service was non existent. The name of the employee at a register was Karolyn on June 25, 2024 at 11 am.
She should be put in a store area that does not interact with customers.
or she needs a session with her supervisor to improve her behavior and have some supervision for some months.

Wow. The worst customer service ever. The checkout lines were clogged and a customer service employee that could help us nearly refused to do so and gave us nasty attitude after we practically begged her to help. Even though that was her job and she was positioned and able to help and just standing there. She was extremely unpleasant.
we were at the store at 11 am tuesday 25 june and her name was Karolyn. She was truly awful and ruined our experience at menards.

We have spent thousands if not hundreds of thousands here and today after Finnishing a roof we were told that we couldn't return are un used undamaged materials that weren't needed for 6 days because we used a check. Now we have to hope nothing happens to them in the trip home and in the trailer so we can get our money back. This is a horrible policy and a misuse of costumers time and money. In the future in any case where it is plausible we will not be spending money here it's a shame they don't treat loyal customers better. Very disappointing ?

Won’t be returning. I just spent an hour and a half at the store to get a single 4x4x6 post. I was given 5 wrong directions by 3 different people only to find the post unmarked in a corner separate from all other posts

The special order pick up area for online orders has no consideration for pulling a trailer and though or turning a trailer around. 20 min wait to get out of the security gate.

Great home improvement, home hardware store. They have a very popular 11% rebate program, but I wish it was more digital and didn't require me to apply to get the rebate. Other loyalty programs accumulate credits for you (like Walmart).
I did store pickup. Improved from last time but still could be better. Please drop the handling fee, totally unnecessary. Pickup is hard to find hidden behind Petsmart! You have to enter the compound behind the store to get to pickup. Fort Knox-like security to get in and out! Nice to see they moved it to a better location in the yard.
Still can't beat the selection and prices, so I keep coming back.

I challenge anyone to find a store with worse customer service! This place takes the cake. I work in maintenance and consistently shop at home improvement/hardware stores on a DAILY basis. Today I was treated condescendingly by a worker in the electrical dept. I rarely need help finding anything in the store as I shop here on a regular basis, but every time I find myself in need of service here its received with an annoyed look, crass response, or in todays case just a plain arrogant rude answer to a question. I am officially done. I'll drive a little further to the orange store where the workers even know me by name. May want to have some customer training for your retail workers. It's kind of an important aspect of the business... BYE
