I went to the Jazz Night----5 stars!! Delightful people, excellent music, nice charcuterie board, some nice wine choices but I wouldn't have minded trying more than one chardonnay. Beautiful place, they showed me some of the rooms and they are historic, comfy, inviting! Need to take my wife sometime. Had no idea the Jazz Nights are monthly but was delighted to find out.

Amazing experience. Loved the historic but updated atmosphere. Our room had beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Delicious pastries, French press coffee, and fresh fruit at breakfast. Staff were all helpful! Very walkable area.

Simply fabulous. Beautiful and elegant building that’s been maintained impeccably. Very comfortable beds. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Super kind and attentive service in a wonderful location. Felt the value was excellent and will return!

Such a cool spot. Went for a jazz show, so can't speak to the nature of the rooms, but the space was very intimate and the staff lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Just stayed two nights here and enjoyed by far the coziest and calming experience away from home I think I've had in my life. The staff are warm and provide impeccable service in a beautifully designed space. The Jacuzzi bathtub and gorgeous bar for a nightcap speak for themselves.. Thank you for a great stay, I cannot wait to come back!

The best boutique hotel in Madison. From check-in to the rooms to the staff, this place is tops. The rooms are beautiful, and the atmosphere and architecture are unmatched. Plus, the check in desk is a BAR!?!?! I'll be staying here again.

My stay at Mansion Hill Inn was truly exceptional. The historic charm of the inn, nestled in a picturesque neighborhood, offered a unique and cozy experience. Impeccably decorated rooms, personalized service, and modern amenities created a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. With its central location, exploring the city was convenient. A memorable stay that exceeded expectations.

What a lovely B&B! The service was outstanding & this building has been kept in beautiful condition. We had a top floor room that had the best bathroom. But beware, those spiral stairs are no joke. And don't forget to stop, look up & marvel at the lights.

We rented out the entire Mansion Hill Inn for 2 nights for our wedding, and it was absolutely phenomenal. It was a small wedding, and we were able to fit all family members into the 10 rooms. We had the ceremony and reception in the parlor. It's absolutely beautiful for photographs - great architectural details inside and outside. Nicole and all of the staff were a godsend in the run-up to the wedding, and day-of. We were able to focus on talking with our guests instead of minute details - the innkeepers handled on the details of vendors delivering things, setting up rooms, setting up and staffing the bar, etc. and were very kind and welcoming to us and our guests. All of our guests raved about how amazing the Inn, the innkeepers, and the weekend were. One thing to note is that they do not have a dance floor, which was not a problem for us, as we opted for board games instead. They also mentioned kids are sometimes problematic because the furniture are antiques and any damage to them is expensive to fix. Again, for us, this was no problem, as we had no kids in attendance. Breakfast was great but light (croissants, coffee, tea, etc.). If you want something more substantial, there are a lot of restaurants nearby on the capitol square. It was a pretty hot few days, about 90 degrees, and the rooms were air conditioned and comfortable. We had originally planned to have the ceremony in the capitol building, but there was a protest on the square on our wedding day, which caused some last-minute shuffling of venues (which, again, Nicole handled wonderfully), and the protest was not audible in the hotel. We put the elderly guests on the ground floor so they did not have to walk up the staircase. If you're considering having a wedding here, I absolutely recommend it. I also 1000% recommend renting the entire place out, though this can of course be hard to schedule. It makes the experience very private and comfortable. Try to reserve room 7 for yourself if you can! This would also be a great honeymoon or anniversary spot.

Incredible and unique rooms, wonderful location, and great service. One of my favorite spots to stay at. I especially love room 7! The service is top notch as well. And if you love architecture this is your place!

Absolutely spectacular. From the genuinely helpful (and seemingly happy!) staff to the beautiful interior that kept making me say "wow" every time I discovered a new hidden detail of the inn (skylights and spiral staircases, terrace balconies and whirlpool tubs), I loved every moment of my stay. The warm chocolate chip cookies at night, the candy bar during the day, and the pastries and oatmeal bar for breakfast were also wonderful. If I could live like that - having an on-call staff member 24/7?! - everyday, I'd never want for anything. 10/10. Definitely recommend!
