Beware if the person who answers the phone is named Rachel. I called with a poison emergency this morning and spoke with either the most under qualified, or least interested in animal healthcare person I can imagine.
With this being the only vet open at the time, I called and asked what to do about the following situation:
I have a very large German Shepherd Rottweiler who is currently on a large dose of a medication to help with leg problems. This morning I went to give her medication wrapped in lunch meat. She was able to spit it out and our new puppy snatched it up before I was able to get to it. I called very concerned asking for information on what to do. Rachel, instead of asking any information about the situation gave me a hot line number that had roughly 7 minutes of automated, "select this if this", prompts before giving it gave me the ultimatum that to speak to a person I had to hook up a credit card to pay $90 to again be put on hold.
The dog is now fine.

Marjan. If you call yourself an emergency vet, but have staff that can't answer emergency questions, you're not much of an emergency vet. Also, as you were not the person I spoke with on the phone, and are coming from a biased stand point defending your employees, your word doesn't mean much to me. The point of reviews is to leave your personal experience with a company, or an individual at said company to allow others to make an educated decision on weather or not they would like your services. My review isn't inappropriate, unkind, or unnecessary. It is meant to be informative based on my experience.

My cat was double dosed with a medication that was thankfully a safe medication for the dose she was given. Has it been a harsher medication she could've died, all because of poor communication and note taking. I received my cat with vomit all over the e collar and my MIL had to wait an hour because the staff didn't communicate with each other that she was waiting.

My cat and I were both in distress, and everyone we encountered was very accommodating. The vets and vet techs were smart and thorough in caring for my cat. Thanks for all you do.

There are so many reasons we would recommend you. The emergency team. The oncology team. How clean you place is. Everyone is amazing. We are going through an extremely difficult path and time right now and feel nothing but supported by your whole team.

Traveled an hour and a half to get to the clinic and it was well worth it. Staff were friendly and kept giving us updates on our dog. The provider was amazing and talked to us in great detail and was very personable and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

From the moment I walked in the door, everyone from the receptionist to the care team were so welcoming, kind and supportive during a very stressful situation. Dr. Lau was our dogs neurologist and surgeon and provided the best care, including updates before and after surgery and twice a day while he had to remain at the vet. At pick up, the team spent time ensuring we knew exactly how to care for our dog after surgery and how we could support his rehab. We are so thankful for more quality time with our sweet Jordy and cannot say Thank You enough! Mini was in a bad way on Monday. We rushed her to the ER Hospital. We Thank all of the Drs , Nurses and rest of staff for kindness snd caring for our tiny girl.
