I stopped by to get some help getting back into my google account as I was also having phone issues and my phone was at U Break I Fix. Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and got me back into my google account. Very pleased with Nathan and Madison Computer Works. Would highly recommend!! Much integrity!!

I reached out to Madison Computer Works when my desktop began booting to a black screen that only showed a cursor. I dropped it off shortly after 9:00 on a Wednesday, and they said they couldn't work on it until the following Monday. I did not hear from them until the following Wednesday, a week after I had dropped it off. The voicemail said they could not replicate my issue, but they fixed some corrupted files and suggested buying more RAM. Fine, but that was not the issue that needed fixing. I would have preferred a call before an hour's work was done to say they were not seeing the same problem. I declined extra RAM and picked up my machine. The same boot to black screen happened as soon as I plugged it in. They helped with some troubleshooting over the phone, which turned out to be one of the monitors. They admitted they did not test the VGA port, so it's unclear if it is the monitor or something about the port itself. They also offered to loan me a cable so I could do more troubleshooting, which I declined.I'm unhappy to have paid a high price for the issue to reoccur, the time working was spent on other things on my computer, and attempt at an upsell. However, the staff was kind, respectful, and helpful when I was interacting with them. They also did phone troubleshooting to help identify the problem, even if they didn't solve it in the store.A mixed experience overall.

I walked in looking for nothing but a DisplayPort cable for a reasonable price from a convenient location. Instead I got one for the profoundly unreasonable price of $0 and a positive review! Thanks, Madison Computer Works!

These folks are the best! I'm so happy they are in Madison. I was just in yesterday as my laptop had been seized up by a scam. I was prepped for a few day turnaround and the tech had it back up and running (with extra protection added) in about 10 min. I've bought computers there and had service done for years. Absolutely trust these folks to keep my computers running. I never have the horror stories my friends around the country have who don't have local care. Thank you!

These folks are great! I worked primarily with Nathan in particular and cannot say enough good things--despite the awful condition of my computer and the embarrassing way I got it there (rookie mistake), he was so nice and understanding. He diagnosed my issue, I was directed to send it in to get fixed under warranty, and he backed up all my data for me. A couple weeks later it came back from warranty and I brought it in to get restored and he let me know that unfortunately, the warranty folks had caused another error (apparently not unheard of). He got all the data I was most worried about (plus some!) on my external hard drive and gave good advice on dealing with warranty.Long story short--so nice, I overheard various other employees dealing with all sorts of issues as I waited (briefly) and it seems like a great and very fair bunch. I hope I don't have to visit again anytime soon, but know where I'll be going with any tech issues in the future!!

This Company is great!!! saw it weekly with my chiropractor visits-- my chiropractor around the corner -- had a zip drive and did not know how to open -- went to library for help and they could not help - thought I need a geek and found my perfect geek hero- PETE!! at Madison Computer Works -- you are great - gosh I was not expecting all the time you gave me -- you are really into challenges - and mine was --- if you want it done right the first time, don't waste your time -- Madison Computer Works is the place to go. many thanks. jane blaska

Simply the BEST!!! Madison Computer Works, Inc is the only place that I'll go for computer services! As always, I was treated like family from Sarah and Brian. They are always so kind, friendly and "happy to help." They truly care about their customers! I purchased an external hard drive and Ethan and Silas kindly helped set it up for me putting the shortcut on my laptop. I had a variety of questions with my laptop (messages popping up, pictures not transferring over, etc.) and Ethan and Silas went above and beyond to help me resolve my computer issues! They were so kind, patient and friendly. I'm not tech savvy and they took all the time needed to answer my questions and kindly help me! They too, made me feel valued like family! Madison Computer Works, Inc is the BEST!!!

My computer would not charge or turn on and this nice young man fixed it in just a couple minutes. He was so nice and so helpful. I recommend this place highly.
