MadCat is a locally owned pet store and a favorite in town. It is a very cute place with a delight to shop. The staff is really nice, friendly, and very helpful, offering great customer service and recommendations. They love cats, and sometimes there are cats or kittens from a local rescue available for adoption. The shop has a great variety of high-quality supplies, including a great selection of cat carriers, toys, snacks, and food. Despite the name, they also carry dog supplies and some small animal stuff, with a better selection than other stores. They have reasonable and often lower prices. It is a great way to support local business and is highly recommended.
My go-to pet store! I adopted my first cat from their east side location in 2020, and have continued to go back ever since. Their swappable litter containers are a nice perk as well!

I love visiting Madcat on Monroe Street to stock up on kitty treats and supplies and to visit store cats Bowie and Jagger! The staff members are knowledgeable, and there’s a great variety of toys, food, treats, and anything else your cat or dog could need.
