“Century House furniture delivery staff members Brady and John were outstanding!! We have a 1938 house that has smaller door openings. They did their remarkably professional assessment of the sectional’s and the doorways’ dimensions. They figured out how to position our new furniture so well, that by a hairs-breadth it made it unscathed into our downstairs living room. The care these two took of our purchase was breathtakingly amazing. I am ecstatically pleased with Century House and the commitment that all of them so capably share with their customers. Thank you. “I had visited Rubin’s a dozen times over the years and had always wanted a really nice sofa. When the time was finally right, we visited the new showroom and ran into JJ. After narrowing our selection down to 2 sofas, JJ visited our home to lend his design expertise and draw up how each sofa would fit into our space. We settled on the Titan and some additional recommendations for our space and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was white glove and after sale communication has been great.Purchasing a piece from Rubin’s is a big deal, these are high quality pieces that are accompanied by high quality service. “The staff at this location was both a very polite, and incredibly helpful. I do not live in this area, but was here for work and popped in because I saw the -sale- sign outside. I was greeted at the door and told about the sale by a lovely young woman, and after looking around and scoping out their Halloween decor, but not finding the piece I had seen at my local Kirklands (before the sale), I approached the gentleman behind the counter. I had taken photos, so he looked it up and it did not look like they were going to be getting it anytime soon. He informed me that the sale was chainwide, and not just this location, and then offered to call the store I had seen the item at and have them hold it for me.
Above and beyond! Customer service really does make a difference, and that gentleman made my day!”
“I love their selection of planters! I also really enjoy their plant themed puzzles. This store has a wide array of materials from plants, to planters, books, puzzles, and anything you may need to take care of your plants. Even if you aren’t a plant person, you can find something here. Their small plants make great gifts. I highly recommend this store!”

“Unique store. Neat variety of merchandise. My son bought many stickers which were $1 each. He also bought a banana duck which is so unique. There was local artist work for sale. There was random items which I really liked. Many of the prices were high. I do understand that it a locally owned store.
The shop owner recommended other shops according to our interests.

“This place is my go-to whenever I need to buy a gift or card. But I always manage to find a few things for myself as well. They have a great variety of cute, unique and high quality gifts, art and jewelry. I love that they offer so many things from local artists and makers! I’ve bought gifts here for kids, my parents, my friends…you’re sure to find something for whoever you’re shopping for, regardless of age or tastes. And the service is always friendly and thoughtful.”

“Rubin's is either your cup of tea or not. The styles are generally modern, Scandinavian inspired and very interesting. We stopped at their warehouse/larger store (there is also a design center downtown) and found a large showroom full of things I'd very much like to buy. There's a clearance area off to the side that sells floor models and returns at good discounts. We were looking for some lounge-y chairs and there were options aplenty. Helping us was very knowledgeable Barb who was never intrusive and let us look around. After making the rounds, we kept coming back to one specific chair - Barb let us know they had 2 in stock from a cancelled order (most things are made to order) in our preferred color, plus they were included in their anniversary sale. SOLD!! I work on the commercial furniture side and felt that the quality here was oberall very high and the prices, for what you get, are pretty fair. It's not IKEA prices to be fair but it's also not made in China crap that will fall apart and bottom out in a few months. You'll love it if: you appreciate mid century or modern design, want a high level of quality, want to customize items. You won't like it if: you need cupholders in your furniture.”

The clothes selection is a cross between comfort and style, boho and chic, and traditional with modern flare. Perfect for island living or keeping cool in warmer weather because of the fresh linen. You could decorate a home with the wide variety of interior adornments. I'm glad I stopped by.”

“ROSS is my favorite store, & here's why. My feet are size 15 and it's difficult for me to find shoes in my size. I found a pair of size 15 Jordans for $65. That is an incredible deal. You never know what you'll find here. I've found awesome snapbacks, household trinkets, and other gems. Staff was also friendly.”
“I was looking for an obscure replacement bobbin for a 1966 Singer sewing machine. I called Joann Fabrics on Zeir Rd and spoke with Acosia (hope I have correct spelling). She spent some time checking their inventory. Then got back on the phone and told me they have some that may work but I should bring in my bobbin to be sure. Then she also found phone numbers for two local sewing businesses that she thought might be able to help! Wow, amazing customer service, Acosia! Joann Fabrics is lucky to have you!”
“Had a last minute out of town wardrobe malfunction. Needed lingerie tape. Took 2 people to find it but it was still quick. Fixed my dress and off to our 20th wedding anniversary dinner.
Side note....online prices (for store pick up) are significantly lower than in store prices. $8 vs $14 for my one item which I think is a bit unfair.”

“The staff at Slumberland are always kind and respectful. I HATE sales staff that continue to hover over you. Staff here are not that way. Simply ask how you are doing and if you need anything. They always make a point that they are available if we have any questions. We've been to all of the other furniture stores in the greater Madison area and we always seem to find what were are looking for at Slumberland. They always beat the competition in price. We've bought most of our new furniture at Slumberland and I imagine we will continue to. Very happy with the purchases we've made and the buying experience.”
