Quick in-and-out one-night stay here. No perks for Diamond members. Room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, although the AC unit was terribly loud (had to turn it off to sleep). Gym was functional. Tiny pool, but the hot tub was nice. Late dinner in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly decent.

Room was hot and after a few hours they got that fixed.
Went down to lobby at 4am to see about coffee and talked to the front desk guy that literally seemed like a zombie with zero customer service skills. I ask him when they will brew fresh coffee and he tells me at 5.
I come back down at 5 a still no coffee and he has zero response. Do better!!!

Overall very nice hotel in excellent location - close to all Madison attractions but still in a quiet part of town so as to not have late night noise. Breakfast was excellent - fair prices and very attentive servers. Impressed that front desk reception offer guests waiting to check in a cold bottle of water on a very hot day. Room comfortable. Would have been a 5 star rating if our room service wasn't missed on first night ( of 3) in spite of being out of the room from 9:00Am to 4:00 PM.

Excessive price. Good room but nothing better than others at a lower cost
Rooms: Spacious, a little old. Noisy air conditioning.

Very nice Hilton. Very convenient to downtown restaurants and attractions, the lake, and the capitol.
Rooms: Nice rooms but a little dated - wish they had walk in showers rather than tubs.

Beware of this place, issues on issues and the staff is visibly bothered to handle them for you. Our upgraded room had a broken AC that wouldn’t stop clanking when the blower went off (have you ever entered a hotel room set to 65? Me neither, it’s ALWAYS 73-74, but now I know why it was set so low), the manager tried to convince me to accept an engineer entering my room at 10:30 pm to “fix the AC. Eventually she moved me to a new room, which she emphasized was an upgrade I would not be charged for (obviously I wouldn’t be charged, I was moving rooms in the middle of the night) the “further upgraded” room we were moved to smelled like straight up mold, not to mention was not even to the same standards and not in the same location of the hotel we paid to upgrade for (a very specific view). The night manager Cassandra was extremely condescending and unhelpful, she literally argued with me about my issue for minutes at a time. Oddly, she was polite to my male partner and much more eager to offer him a solution, even though it was not his reservation nor is he a Hilton honors member. Not at all what I expected from one of the “nicest” hotels in the city. Room keys also did not work. We did not stay the night, I recommend you do not either.

Small rooms for the price. Excellent views. Parking structure was poorly designed

When coming to Madison, I like to stay at this Hilton property. It has been remodeled since my last stay. It offers paid parking on-site and is steps away from the Capital Building. There are many great restaurants, bars and shops in the area. The hotel restaurant, The Audrey has great breakfast selections and the service is top notch.
Walkability: It's connected to the Monona Community Terrace overlooking Lake Monona. The rooftop has a beautiful garden and cafe. It's only steps from the Capital Building

We had 7 rooms for my immediate family on 8/2 and 8/3 for a wedding. Our rooms were great and had a wonderful lake and terrace view. I was especially pleased with the immaculate upkeep with this great property. What a wonderfully run property you should all be proud of yourselves. We dealt mainly with a short haired young lady at the front desk she did a very good job taking care of us and our many questions.
Rooms: Clean well designed room.
Safety: Felt very safe.
Walkability: Capital 2 blocks.
Food and drinks: Great breakfast in the Executive Club
Noteworthy details: Well maintained.

Avoid if you want your things safe!
I had a horrible experience at this hotel as I left some items in the room and apparently were never recovered so I would lead me to think the cleaning staff had decided to take for themselves? Since they were never found, allegedly. Makes me question the integrity of this hotel and the Hilton chain. Will rethink staying at this location or any Hilton if I can't trust my property is safe. Very disappointing.
UPDATE- After my review the hotel did find my belongings! Thank you to Hilton, however, I just feel it shouldnt have taken a google review to get some attention, as I called several times before and no action. However I appreciate the efforts of the staff!
